3. 11/03/04
was when we got the fatal diagnosis. Until now the patient was still on life support.

6. I can't wait to see how hard Dems fight to keep Social Security intact
The grassroots will raise a major ruckus, our Dems will hem and haw, except for a few. Finally someone will have the guts to stand up to the Repubs, then a few more Dem Senators will join that person and talk about how awful it is to see our Social Security jeopardized.

And then we'll all get steamrollered again.

I don't think the Dems will ever understand that they have to present a united front. What would have been the big deal for half of them to vote no to certify the Ohio electors? All the Repubs respect is strength. This compromising appeasement is bullshit. The Dems could have said, "No one will ever know whether bush won or not, because we won't have the chance to inspect the machines." But nooooooo, it turned out to be a mealy-mouthed patronization of bush.

There's my rant. x(

8. Democracy as a form of government has become a magnet for corruption
and may indeed fall like all previous forms of government before it. Without fair elections, democracy will not survive.

10. Today it is apparent that the US
no longer has fair and free elections and that a free press no longer exists in this country. Those are the two vital components required to have a democracy. Both are gone now.

and the direction Reid and others will be taking us with electronic voting machines.

13. You guys aren't getting it
What happened today was GOOD. We had a Senator STAND. We had others stand in SUPPORT of her. There is an official record now that something was NOT RIGHT with this election. No, * isn't moving out tomorrow. This is the government, things take time. We're going through the proper channels to make a change. The rumble has been underground, today, it erupted.

Please, take some time and do some homework. This is GOOD. The repugs would love to see the disappointment. You shouldn't be disappointed. You should be proud.

Proud to be a Left Leaning Michael Moore Watching Liberal Democrat (now more than ever)!

We need to PUSH HARD for Verifiable Vote. Stop beating a dead horse. It is on record. Fraud happened no doubt. Now Push for investigations, convictions of those responsible. And fight for The Verifiable Vote.

15. Just ignore them
They're the type of people who see bad in everything. They get
off on it. Democracy was heard loud and clear today.
