encouraged!

We have been heard, we helped make this happen. We have a voice. We, the people, still have a voice.

If we here on DU and others on like forums and other activists throughout the USA had not sent faxes, emails and letters, if we had not called and cajouled, we would not have had the debates that have been going on today.

Election reform would have been brushed under the rug and no one would have paid it any attention.

The fact that these debates have happened today, that Tubbs and Boxer stood together to object to Ohio's electoral votes, means that WE HAVE BEEN HEARD AND THEY PAID ATTENTION TO US. They know we are here, they didn't ignore us, they can't ignore us.

Despite the fact that the MSM has ignored us and tried to dismiss the election irregularities these debates took place. We didn't need the MSM, we made it happen. We screamed and we were heard.

I am not dejected, depressed or discouraged! I am proud, proud to be a part of the movement that made history today and that will NOT BE IGNORED!!!

The fight continues, we must keep raising our voices and demanding that our elected officials pay attention to us!

It is an awesome day! Now Mobilize!
find your local groups and effect change on the local level.

Be supportive of the senators who stood up and spoke out! Call them and thank them.

Be super supportive and vote for Boxer as President in 08. what she did today was the most difficult thing a Senator can do. She was honest and spoke from her heart. She put her neck on the line. Senator Boxer is what democracy looks like and it looks good on her!

For the rest of the slimey bastards who said nothing and did nothing

do everything in your power to remove them. They are the deadwood on the tree of democracy and we need only healthy, growing branches on this tree.

Thanks Will for all of your hardwork you are awesome.

You are what investigative journalists used to be like!

That is zero. None, nada, zilch, zip.

Today we had Senator Boxer and I, for one, am so proud of her! She showed guts and honor.

We did this. We made it happen.

Now we have to continue calling, faxing and emailing to let them know that we will NEVER forget and we will NEVER retreat and we will

NEVER SURRENDER!!!

19. Today was a good day, but will it be a GREAT one?
It will be seen in the vote. This is where we get to see whether Dem "leaders" like Pelosi and Reid actually deserve the title.

If they create a rhetorical quarantine area around the petitioners, then they should be seen as the two-faced sunshine soldiers that they are. If they say "screw political expediency" and take a stand for the truth, then they'll have some credibility.

Whether they like it (or understand it) or not, this is the moment of truth for them.

I was hoping for a great day, which it would have been if more Senate Dems had voted with them.
