Any stand for democracy is a GOOD thing. Full stop.
Did they march up to the White House and pull Bush out by his hair. No. Did you really expect that?

Most wars are won with a series of victories. Getting the issue debated today in Congress was a victory. The people entreated for a Senator to take a stand, and one did. It only required one.

If this day had occurred four years ago, the whole argument may have been moot. Several of the senators made good points. They heard you.

Now your job is to make everyone else hear you. You need to fight not for a party or a candidate but for your country.
