11. With all the buildup, this has to be disappointing. Where are the 5-6
Senators that were supposed to stand with Boxer??

18. Don't let the ambiguities of the procedure to distract from the victory.
I had a nice scenario that with the right "bombshell" both Florida and Ohio could have been rejected giving Kerry the win -- today! -- but the bottom line is this is historic and so significant that I think we should all be congradulating each other.

The more I think about it, the more I think this is a Tsunami quake in the making!

All the best in this New Year!

4. Beats zero
Damn we gotta crawl before we walk, people. Tomorrow we start on the rest realizing their best interests are not with the majority that oppose Democracy.

They represent us! Dammit. We are the ones that got this started.

5. What % voted in 2000?
I know no one in the Senate, but was the overall percentage better than last time?

7. 0% voted in 2000. In never went to the house because
no Senator signed the objection. This is pretty historic.

12. So you'd rather have zero?
Some people are not getting it, the fact that this discusion happened is a victory. If you thought that this was gonna overturn the election you were in for a BIG disapointment.

Some victories over the last month.

1.- We got a Gobernor win, after a recount.
2.- We got some light nto this
3.- Today we got some light onto what is going on, and people are now seeing it.

Now here is another effect, not one that the Black Caucus wanted... this has put a big kibbush in the legitimacy of George Bush. That said, the Credit Card Party did get this part, clearly, even if the intent is to have a fair system.

History is not made in a day, but made over the period of years, sometimes decades... but you always have to take the first step, this was the first major step and a victory in this sense.

17. It is sad though, while I am grateful for the few,
that we have to point at such tiny victories at this point in our history? We are to be "thrilled that 32 congressman and one Senator object to election fraud. My hat is off to those brave souls. The point is they ALL should protest this, and not just Dems either,.It is sad that we must set the bar so low.

14. Just wonder if, in 2000, a Senator had contested, how many in
Congress would have voted against Bush's electors then?? Probably a heck of a lot more than 6%!

19. Please don't forget
Six percent voted. Yet many representatives were not even present. Of those present...wouldn't it be more like ten percent?
