I need a margarita.....
It's been a long 2 months... Today was a bit anti-climatic, but at least we can feel somewhat certain that election reform will be an issue in the next session of Congress. There's no doubt our efforts had some effect. Blackwell still has pending lawsuits against him and who knows what will happen.

Let's not look too deeply into the ramifications of what happened today. Let's take a night off for a change, sleep on it, and regroup when the hangover wears off... the fight for democracy is obviously going to take more than 2 months, but it will be worth it.

5. I am cracking open a Corona with ya.
I am tired. I am just a young housewife. All I could do to help was call and write. I am a bit disppointed today. Oddly enough, this has changed me in a way I wasn't expecting. I am looking for a career change. I am not qualified to run for any office or anything that lofty, but I know that I want politics (I prefer to call it involvement) to be a permanent part of my life. Criminals have made angry, tough activists of many of us. For that I am grateful.

And now for my beer. What a messed up 2 months, and we're not even close to finished. :)
