Thoughts about today
Thoughts about today.

(1) Barbra Boxer is an amazing woman. She deserves a major pat on the back.

(2) The 31 House Members who vote yea are also amazing, amazing people.

(3)The mainstream media is a bunch of pooh. Their needs to be another name for them because I dont believe they are media. I think the word reporter has become a joke... and investigatory journalists are a dying breed. Todays events prove this- they barely reported on it. C-Span is the only way to know what the heck is going on. Otherwise you can spend all day looking at pictures of Martha Stewart at Camp Cupcake as they update us on her most recent bowel movement.

(4) Prediction- John Kerry will end up trying to be a major player in the election reform game & it will be his big platform in 2008. That said- I think MOST people are done with him. There is loyalty and then there is stupidity. People are/were also loyal to Hitler, Hussein, Bin Laden, Arafat. I guess it's the "devil you know" syndrome. No one ever wants to admit they chose someone who didn't deliver.

(5) I think if/when John Kerry goes to lobby for this legislation I am going to laugh my ass off. He shouldn't try to bogart someone elses issue. Election issues are Boxer's job. She basically OWNS the voting issue now (in my mind) as far as the Senate goes. They are all now officially her bitches.

(6) I agree 1,000% with Will Pitt & others who said that today was a good day. But let's really remember WHO made today so great. I know I will, when it comes time to vote again.

3. Another Thought
There IS fresh "blood" out there (so to speak).
People who can think & want to help.
I want to see new people stand up & ride in to help change this
nightmare!

Hey Will Pitt.... any interest in running?
