When will democrats learn?
On one hand we have the democratic senators who spoke, but kept Covering their asses by claiming bush won, and so denounced their own point. On the other hand we have delay being vicious, calling them terrorist enablers and saying democracy is shameful.
We need some people who are willing to sink to Delays level with speaches writen to denounce and destroy republicans and their positions.

We just don't fight hard enough.

1. Good Question-Cause The Display By Posters Who Are Out Of Touch
with reality and thought it'd be a good thing for the Democrats who spoke out to label Junior illegitimate is pitiful.

4. I don't understand this point.
Junior REALLY IS illegitimate, but no one is supposed to say so in public?

5. And is there a happy medium in your mind?
Because what 75% of them did today, which is not a damn thing, sure was ineffective, IMO

3. Meanwhile WA State Republicans openly ask to overturn election
Republican machine has no problem claiming fraud from the rooftops, and the media no problem reporting it. Yet the real fraud in WA was for Republicans and can be downloaded with a press release here:

http://www.votersunite.org/takeaction/mediaSnohomishCounty.htm

Bottom line: the touch screen machines that were visibly switching votes from Democrat to Republican in fact did much better for Republicans in their ultimate results.

6. Too bad no Dem brought that up!
I wish they could really have a verbal Free-for-All now, and say what they REALLY think... With all the rage and despair I was feeling, can you IMAGINE how the Dems who had the guts to actually DO something today felt? Wonder where they go to lick their wounds and recharge their batteries, after something like this. Would LOVE to join them...

7. Never. They'll never learn. Ever. Never ever ever. This country is doomed.
Democracy is dead, it was nice while it lasted. I hope the conservatives are happy. I spit on Kerry and all the other spineless Democrats who gave this country up while talking the good talk and lying right to our faces. I salute those who still care and at least tried to speak up.

(Bad mood? Why yes, why do you ask?)

8. It's like being polite to the schoolyard bully who is hammering you
in the face. Eventually you decide to hit back and then he runs away
and cries for momma.

9. The Great Divorce
between you guys and reality is, well, remarkable. Democrats today addressed election reform with eloquence and conviction. Had they all voted to reject the Ohio electors, nothing would have changed except the spin on the story and the repercussions levied against them by the majority. Positions would have hardened and the chances for election reform would have diminished. What don't you get about the rethugs being in the majority and controlling the agenda in Congress? Or is that you're just enamoured by meaningless swan songs? What did you expect would happen today, that some dem would sprout fairy wings and wave a magical wand reversing the results of the election? Inquiring minds want to know.
