The status quo was the winner today, and the Democratic party is largely a status quo party - despite some heroic dissenters, they are mainly a go-with-the-flow party, not a revolutionary one. Only if the Democratic party is willing to swear off the corporate cash gravy train completely and permanently would they start becoming any vehicle for change.

They don't "need us". They get their money from corporations and fat cats.

We need to change campaign finance. It should be public and/or grassroots ONLY.
