1. She did her best

She is giving up on the Democratic party. Suggested that poeple stand as independents and she will work for them in 2006.

2. She sure isn't.....she's bringing up POINT AFTER POINT

about HOW, when and why the vote fraud took place.

We needed RANDI to speak today IN the Senate and House chambers instead of some of the spineless Dems that spoke today.

I'm not saying ALL the Democrats were chitty speakers....but they could have been more PASSIONATE and presented more information. Why didn't they present some of the info contained in Conyer's report?

5. Unfair. Randi "gets it."
You can't meet these thugs half-way.

THEY wouldn't have waffled. They'd have stood all together if it were them, and done WHATEVER was necessary--they'd have MADE THINGS UP, even. I'm SURE of it.

Democrats are TOO wishy-washy; too willing to compromise.

Republicans NEVER compromise. THE ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS. That's the Straussian model.

10. The GOP Looked Like Assholes Today-Democrats Showed They Care
Dems presented evidence & facts.

And in the fact of 100,000 disenfranchised Americans (mostly minorities) the GOP talked about Mike Moore and sour grapes.

13. Yeah - wasn't it great to see? But how come the repugs
insisted on reading from biased editorials from repug-owned newspapers as if they were reading some sort of biblical truth? The only thing I could think was that they weren't expecting what happened today, and this was the best they could come up with at short notice - pathetic.

15. Insisted? They Had No Choice
Their move was right out of KKKarl's playbook. The election fraud evidence is overwhelmingly damning. Their only choice, just like the run-up to Iraqi Freedom, was to substitute slanted opinion for cold, hard facts.

12. Maybe you're the one off of your meds. She gets it. Why can't you?
Democracy died today. She knows it, and many of us here know it too.

Bush owns all branches of the government now, lock stock and barrel. I suggest you wake up to that.

16. are you licensed to make clinical diagnosis of people's mental state or
hormonal imbalances? I am always fascinated when someone labels another human being like this. Under what authority do you speak? Your degree? Or do you just have trouble with "outspoken" radicals like Frances Farmer?

4. Was it Macine Waters
on Randi's show today, saying she was going to run as an independent? She was upset that the dems con't stand together.

That's the one thing the cons do well. They hang together come hell or high water. I wish we could.

8. Wow--Maxine said that?
I watched her in action for two years when I used to work for the California Assembly and Senate, back when she was a state legislator. She was awesome then and still is.

What was the final House vote on certifying Ohio's electors?
I was nauseated to hear so many Dems say this wasn't about questioning the outcome. It damn sure should've been!
Please tell me that Maxine and a few other brave Dems cast the right votes. Giving lip service to investigating voting irregularities is good, but not enough.

11. I didn't hear that bit ... but she made a great speech today.
You're right, the cons do hang together no matter what - but I don't know if that's ever going to be possible with free-thinking liberals ... which is a blessing for freedom of thought and individuality, but also a hindrance in any form of 'party' political debates.

9. Both have guts and that is exactly what is needed to save the
country.

We have stone age leaders in Washington who just don't get it. The country must be saved and it won't be saved being afraid of liars and thieves and doing the job to make wealth for themselves.
