Please don't lose sight of the consequences of this day
The coup de etat is now complete. Rather than hope for a return to sanity under Democratic leadership we will have to endure a continued assault on our personal freedoms and our pocketbooks for the next four years. Worse yet, we will see an even more emboldened effort by these criminals to further entrench themselves by packing the courts at all levels with their lackey judges and most certainly will fill at least three seats on the Supreme Court. And this time it won't be the likes of David Souter who will be put forward in nomination.

No my friends there is no appeasing this lot. They have gotten everything they could steal and then some and are out for more. And sadly to say there is no cop around to stop them.

While I agree with the likes of Howard Dean who have said over and over again we need to reform the system from the bottom up. However, this is going to take quite a long time. My greatest fear is that time is not going to be our ally. We may not have much to reform after this raid is completed.

2. The little vision that keeps repeating in my head today
is of Grover Norquist doing the Happy Dance as the Democratic Party is drowned in the bathtub, and then swirls down the drain when he pulls the plug.

3. The king is dead. Long live the king!
We shall overcome. It wasn't over in Montgomery, Alabama - it wasn't over when Nixon burgled the DNC HQ.

And it's not over now.

Orange jumpsuits for the PNAC.
