Will Pitt or other writers, why don't you gather ALL of these 'anomalies' |
|
and write an article for some newspaper or magazine. This thing needs to grow legs. Each single story of 'lost' votes or overcounts for Bu$h don't have much of an impact, but all of them together in one article might get some notice. Mother Jones? Of course it would also make a good book, but that would take too long.

The next Big Date is 11/11, when Ohio counts its provisional, absentee, and other such ballots.
If the number of Kerry votes pushes Kerry past Bush, then Kerry wins. He becomes the President-Elect, automatically.
Sorry, but concession speeches just don't count.

One other thing - and it might seem peripheral, but I do believe that everything is in the details:
Traditionally, we see articles right after an election is over about the candidates taking off for vacations. They're invariably referred to as "long-overdue."
Now, with Mrs. Edwards' medical news, I can understand that they're staying close to home.
But, what of Senator and Mrs. Kerry? Where are they? Congress is out of session, so where do you think they are?
Anybody know?
I have a theory about this ...................

4. Number of electoral votes |

The 20 in Ohio might not be enough, since Iowa was awarded to Bush.
I think Florida or New Mexico or even Iowa would have to be scrutinized, too.
My math may be wrong, though.

5. Keep an eye on the bloggers, they'll break this first. (Well, Palast |

already has, but I think the bloggers will drum up even more on the subject.) ----------------------------------------------------------- FIGHT! Take this country back one town and state at a time! http://www.geocities.com/greenpartyvoter/electionreform.htm
