Jub Bush 2008
I see many posts about possible candidates for 08. Has anyone considered that Jub might run for the presidency?

Jeb Bush said he won't, but he's an obvious possibility. (nt)

3. He was too dirty to run, so they ran Smirk. Maybe we should dig
up all the dirt on him, including his buddy Recarey who is wanted by the FBI for defrauding Medicare.

I had actually heard
That he was supposed to be the one to run in 2000, but that Dubya ended up winning his bid to become the Governor of Texas, but that Jeb lost his bid that year to Lawton Chiles. (1994, I believe)

Of course, no one seems to be able to offer proof of that, but it seems pretty plausible that had Jeb Bush won against Lawton Chiles in Florida in 1994, he would have been the one that they chose to run in 2000. He's evil, but so is Dubya. But he puts up a better front than Dubya does in that he can actually put a sentence together, he can speak two languages, and just looks better.

10. Going to disaster area
That was my exact thought when I heard he was going ... they're starting the setup for Jeb's run in 2008.

15. Jeb will run in 2012 because Dubya will run in 2008.
Republicans will probably seek to allow presidents to run for a 3rd term. Of course, allowing Dubya to run again, means that Bill Clinton could run again. Wouldn't that be a fascinating race?

19. Depends on Iraq
and how the second term is percieved by the media.

If Iraq is in shambles and bush is nearing the end of his term unpopular with low approval ratings, then they will run a candidate outside of the bush establishment and go for someone like Hagel or McCain.

If the media makes Iraq look half way decent, and Bush is still fairly popular, then I wouldn't be surprised to see Jeb run.

22. I will dance naked through the streets if that is what it takes to
convince people not to vote for that poor excuse for an executive. I can only think of one person who would be worse than GWB right now and that is Jeb. *shudder*

24. He has a lot of corrupt dealings in his past
and ties to criminals in Florida politics. I'm sure he is afraid of a lot of it coming out if he runs. Hopefully, that will stop him because he is disgusting!
