I heard the news today. Oh Boy. |
|
Joe: Did you see the news tonight? Jack: Yea. ABC. Why?
Joe: I was watching MSNBC. Something about an electoral challenge. I never even heard of this.
Jack: There was nothing on ABC about it. You must be kidding. Bush won by over 3 million votes. He’s got a mandate. Political capital, he calls it.
Joe: I know. But this Senator, Boxer from California, she objected to the vote in Ohio.
Jack: Ohio? What the hell does she have to do with Ohio? Joe: Beats me.
Jack: Why? Were there any problems? Joe: None that I know of. And I watch the news every night.
Jack: Who the hell does she think she is? Joe: A sore loser, looking for publicity. Anyway, they say that she was the only Democrat who voted against certification.
Jack: Certification of what? Joe: Ohio's electoral votes.
Jack: But Bush won the state easy. Joe: I know. As I said, she’s just looking for publicity.
Jack: You’re right. Well, it sure backfired, didn’t it? Her party didn’t even support her.
Joe (laughing): You mean the Communist Party? Jack: Yes, the Democratic Party.
Joe: Right. Same thing (laughs). Ann Coulter’s favorites. Jack: Is Ann on tonight? I haven’t seen her in a while.
Joe: Well, you will soon. No doubt she’s gonna’ kick Boxer’s ass as soon as she gets the chance.
Jack: How’s Joe Jr. doing? Joe: Getting on my nerves, actually. He wants to go to Iraq and accomplish the mission once and for all.

I hope Joe Jr. doesn't buy the farm in Iraq. No matter what his age now, he'll probably get the chance.

They are complicit in this crime. You pretty much summed up what most people are going to know about the most important thing this democracy has seen in a long time.

3. Sadly, This May Happen A Lot |

I liked your post, in a black humor sort of way! CBS didn't even mention the challenge, which took a back seat to just about anything else, no matter how trivial.
By the way, I want to take this chance to thank you for your election fraud postings (I'm a new member, but have been visiting the site since last fall). I'm not a statistician, but I found them informative.

4. first, mega props on the numbers stuff truth, |

second, i was talking to a pt. of mine today and going over in my mind how the republican party has gotten to where it is today and remembered one of my first votes cast ( im 35) i got to vote for Lowell Wieker as Ind. Gov. of CT and this seemed to really upset my wifes uncle (big repub. gun owner works for gun co.).
So, my pt. and i started talking about Wieker and his role as CT senator during Watergate (I was 3 doing "I'm not a crook impersonations" so says my dad). My pt. who by now i had upset when she realized she was in college at the time of Watergate said that everyone was watching the hearings, not just everyone on her campus but EVERYONE...... which i guess brings me to my point, i always look for news and info to soak up and i tend to be able to filter most of the hype and junk but most of my pts. and by your great post above, either don't care to know, trust the system to much, or trust the system and listen to Rush and don't filter???
I would love to see mass protest about what Bush et al. has done to the US reputation but apathy has won the day...... a toast to Vigalence...
