Anyone else feel let down?
So that's it? That's all we get out of this? Television pundants making fun of us? There'd better be some serious election reform before the next election season. I want those goddamn machines GONE! Paper-fucking-ballots!!!

1. Expect nothing from your politicians and you'll never be let down
;-)

Works for me, anyway

2. Not at all.
Pundits can make all the fun they want. I mean, are we going away now? Pissing on the campfire and calling in the dogs?

3. No
Not until I peruse through all of these negative comments. We made history today. This is not going to be easy or instantaneous.

4. No. 2 months ago no one in the Senate or HR would have ever expected they.
...would be forced by "We The People...." to face what they all had to face today.

They are all ON RECORD.

Many of them are going to regret for the remainder of their life what they said and what they did.

Count on it because we are going to hold them accountable, 24/7.

That's what democracy is all about -- in your face participation; not observation, or worse, 'silence.'

We will in_DEED prevail.

6. Nope.
We got as much as I expected. We brought attention to the issue, put this challenge permanently into the history books, put Conyers wonderful report into the record, and stood up for our constituents.

Moreover, our representatives did an EXCELLENT job of framing the issue. They argued based on principles and values, while the republicans looked rigid, unprincipled, and uncaring.

14. Actually, I thought the Repubs made complete fools
of themseves for the most part!

One of them actually accused Conyers of being pissed off because Ohio State beat Michigan this year. WTF?

7. No. Did you expect Time Travel, or Smell-o-rama? Perhaps 'The Munge?'

8. Okay, maybe I was a bit unfair.
I just happened to accidentally catch a little bit of Scarborough and it had me seething.

Definite props to the Dems that pushed this issue today.

13. no... we got A Lot out of this. We got Public air time, on Film and Blog
that have Democrats calling for investigation about the integrity of the vote, and many Republicans sputtering about terroism and the war and how Dare we step on their toes!

Important day. Truly mind boggling -- and I didn't even get to see it yet --- just kept up with a few blogs thoughout.
