***TIVO copies update***LOOK

I will be making tapes and *some* DVDs this weekend of both the House and Senate debates, and contacting the others who expressed the desire to participate in a "burning tree" (how ironic) to help burn DVDs.

Does someone know of some shareware so that I can transfer to PC or mac?
Then we can send files online, as well. If so, post here so that other DUers that Tivo'd can find it, as well.

If you don't want a copy for your library, just go to the CSPAN website to watch.

1. If you have a DVD recorder on your computer, you can go to

CSPAN and record in Windows Player and then record to your own DVD.

But don't let me stop capitalism at work here.

16. What would be cool if someone could edit the files

slicing in information by Conyers and dramatic footage of election problems and then show some of the debate. I bet the two justapositions would speak for themselves to anyone with half a mind. Then send it out over the internet. Also would be great to get some jokes going -- these kind of things have a life of their own on the internet.
