We must work to restore the credibility of exit polls

One reason this was allowed to happen is that the people behind it all have spent the last decade degrading the credibility of exit polls. Most people if you ask them think exit polls are unreliable, when in fact that's not true.

We need studies, articles, books, stickers, etc, that focus on the reliability of exit polls. Learn all we can about them and talk it up.

My understanding is that in the Ukraine, the exit polls were what sparked the protests. People were prepared, expecting fraud, but they waited until the exit polls were released before they acted.

We should learn from them. In '06, we need to be more prepared. If Diebold, Blackwell, etc are still around, we need to be more prepared.

It starts now. We can't assume they're going to fix anything by then.

I think if we can try to restore the credibility of exit polls we can get people to act next time, especially if we are better prepared.
