...thanking them for standing up for us today (similar to sorryeverybody.com)

What would you like the domain to be?

2. Please read before you vote
IMPORTANT: About using the word PATRIOT

I attended a Democracy for America meeting last night.

We watched a video about how the republican party has taken control over this country and how we can take it back. A major portion of the video had to do with language. They have taken "ownership" of certain words like PATRIOT.

If we are ever going to break the stronghold they have on the country we must NOT LET THEM MAINTAIN OWNERSHIP OF THESE WORDS. We must take them back.

We can start right now by calling Boxer and Conyers what they are - PATRIOTS. This is a perfect opportunity and we must not pass it up. It would be very powerful to include the word patriot in the URL and it would be an important step in taking back our country.

We should NOT shy away from using words like Patriot because it will only allow them to continue to own them.

Please hear me out. Please keep the word PATRIOT in the URL.

10. Agreed
And I think we've already made headway in taking back the flag as a symbol.

9. GREAT idea
Do you see it like sorryeverybody?-- ie. I could see posting some pix of contributors' expressions, positive messages for today and for the future of voting rights in America.

If it goes well you could consider extending it to thank other groups and representatives working for voting reform. When doing this kind of work, it is important to keep remembering who we are and who we are doing it for...puts a "face" on it. It's a good "heart" thing to compliment all the headwork.

13. Let's also remember the 32 members of the House who voted for the
objection.
