13. and the Inauguration when bushie exposed his own daughter
I was overseas at the time and everyone was talking about what that dumb fuck bushie did to his own daughter.

Wardrobe malfunction???

Also -- the people were saying that if that sort of "voting" had happened in their countries -- they would have been ridiculed by the US.

The US is the new Germany and bush the new Hitler -- with a bigger bankroll and a bigger killing machine.

30. You're confused
George pulled down part of Jenna's dress when he was dancing with her at his last inauguration, exposing her breast:

The thing with Kerry's daughter's 'see through' dress was several years later, and wholly unrelated.

They are a dangerous group with world domination as their goal.

4. We were the laughingstock on Nov. 2
When, for the second time in a row, our electoral process went bonkers. The rest of the world now sees that we are trying to correct the problem.

7. no not laughingstock.... but others may start wondering what the
hell is going on here -- and is that such a bad thing? If we can't take care of our own elections, how in the hell are we supposed to be the helping other countries become democratic..... That is something that needs to be discussed, even as the Republicans want to brush the matter under a rug.

And missed the outcome of everything so I was searching for news on AM radio--heard some talkshow host say something to the effect that it was Whining Loser Liberal day or something like that.
I wish we had an Air America station closeby.

11. It's too late, all right
especially when during the 2 hr debate, Rep Deborah Pryce (R-Ohio) told the collective Dems society that they should have "conceded with the grace that John Kerry did 11/2". Boy, if that wasn't a kick in the ass to the Dem party, I don't know what is. And in the meantime, the monkey was sitting in his treehouse, smirking and licking his chimp lips.

14. I doubt we have to worry about that
especially since there are way too many other things to REALLY worry about right now and because the rest of the world understands and reports on this administration with more frankness than our own journalists.

You wanna talk embarassing? Embarassing was talking heads lathering on about that damned blue dress or the voting to impeach a president over lying about an extra-marital affair when he was meeting with heads of foreign governments. Since the same party did THAT, I'm sure the rest of the world is none too surprised over the current state of our democracy.

19. Hate to tell you this but they hate the people here too...
the rest of the world was waiting for the people to vote * out. we didn't... (sad truth is so many people support *). Heard many people on Democracy Now from other countries talking about this before election. I posted on UN web site to say that our government and media has been hijacked and we are beyond devistated. I don't blame them for hating us we deserve their anger. We all have blood on our hands now. We too are complicit in this government's crimes. We are not looked at kindly.

25. It's worse than that
We are the focus of world hatred. Countries will now line up against the US to bring the dollar down in a financial collapse not seen since 1929. And you can take that to the bank.

28. That's nonsense - all you have to do is tape your wallet shut
Start putting out the word. When telemarketers call I plan to say I don't do business with pugs! Also, anyone who really wants to do something positive should start cancelling their cable subscriptions. Believe me that will do more good than any bumpersticker or letters, etc. LET YOU MONEY DO THE TALKING!
