I AM IN AWE OF THE POWER: DEMOCRACY IS NOT DEAD YET!
I am relieved, awed, shocked and proud tonight.

Do you realize what you accomplished in the few weeks since 11/2?

There may not have been throngs of thousands in the streets (which frankly was beginning to worry me), but dammit! Our new "street" or highway, electronically speaking, has allowed thousands of us to make our voices heard!

And BOY DID THEY HEAR US! From jammed phone lines to full voice mail boxes to busy fax signals ... they had no choice but to listen!

My heartfelt gratitude to all of you. I think there is hope after all.

1. I call this the shock and awe election
The Bushies used the same style of attack (shock and awe) on us in this election as they have in every other democracy that they've disruped. 'We the people'have been abused and it's hard for a lot of people to admit it.

But, the awesome power that I experienced outside the capital at RedefeatBush rally was a passionate orange display, brighter and stronger than the darkness over Washington. I'm so glad I made it.

Mounds of evidence. It's all on the record. More is sure to come. Now it's just a matter of time before the brilliant, thoughtful and creative people out here in these amazing Internets weave sounds and images together into a symphony that will help a critical mass accept our truths and celebrate our heroes.

The day ended with a song by Steve Earle ... "The Revolution starts ... Now!"

Here's my earlier post with more details:
