The Pryce is Wrong!
Here she is folks -- Congresswoman Deborah Pryce.

<http://www.house.gov/pryce/>

Why don't you all write to her and tell her what you thought of her little speech today? Particularly if you're in Ohio's 15th Congressional District.

This is the one who spoke right after Stephanie Tubbs-Jones. She said, among other things:

"Americans, don't be deceived."

Don't worry, Debbie, we're not.

She said we just want to "obstruct, divide and destroy." And that we have a "lack of ideas" too.

If you disagree and you think electoral reform is actually a good idea, or that the system is broken, or that you'd just like to have some assurance that your vote is counted as cast, tell her! Be nice now, remember, she's a Congresswoman. Republicans especially should contact her. After all she's from your side of the aisle so you'll know how to talk to her, right? I'm sure she'd love to hear from you. And if you don't mind, please remind her that we Democrats pay about half of her salary, would you? Thanks.

Now whoever has a copy of the CSpan tapes from today's event, why not post a Representative of the day we can write to, from either the Senate or the House, who had some positive or negative comments to make today. And when we get through the whole list, we can start all over again.

If we all write to one of them each day, that could amount to millions of messages soon, won't it? Tell them we are serious about verified voting, Mom, apple pie and the American way and if they don't like it, well, you know what to say. And tell them, Jan. 6 was only the beginning too.

Thanks.

1. She was truly A W F U L.
Hey, I know awful, okay, I'm in Texas. And she was industrial-grade A W F U L.

It seems like there was even worse stuff she said, but now I've blocked it from my mind.

17. My Letter to: Deborah Pryce
The Honorable Deborah Pryce,

I was appalled by the remarks you made concerning the contest of the Ohio electoral votes. Judging from your remarks, it is very obvious to me that you are blind to what really happened in Ohio concerning the presidential election.

I take your remarks quite personally, and I’m very upset that you would call me and my fellow Democrats, an extreme element of the Democratic party that are out to undermine, obstruct, divide and destroy. The Democrats are not trying to sow doubts or destroy the public’s confidence in our electoral system. They are trying to do just the opposite; they are trying to draw attention to the terribly flawed system we now have in place in hopes that our elected officials will fix the problem once and for all.

This issue is not about Republicans, and it is not about Democrats. The this issue is not just about making sure that every vote is counted, and recounted, as your remarks implied. The issue is about making sure everyone that has the right to vote gets to vote.

Elected Democratic officials are not abandoning their jobs to public service, but you are. It is you that do not understand the facts. As my elected representative it is your duty to insure that we have an election system that is fair, non-biased and that everyone that has the right to vote gets to do so.

Other members of the Republican Party understand the serious problem concerning voter suppression that took place in Ohio because of Kenneth Blackwell. I ask you, as my Representative, to join with your colleagues as well as the Democratic Party, and work as a team to fix the problems so we do not have a repeat of the 2000 and 2004 election in 2008.

3. Thank you for the link. I emailed
though I won't get a response as I'm not in the 15th district. That's okay, I don't want her skanky email cooties anyway. :)

Haha -- she has a typo on her "professional" website. (Releignment for realignment)

side of the page!

(Her name is mangled twice - in two different ways!)

What a putz!

She is in my district. I have already started a letter to her, which I will send to her tomarrow. I will be sure to post it here.

I have written her in the past, and no matter what I write about, I get a standared form letter talking about weapons of mas destruction. She dosen' give a DAM about the people she is supose to represen.

She has been elected by name alone. If the repugs saw what she is really like they wouldn't vote for her.

11. This is what I got after trying to write.
Your zip code indicates that you are outside of the 15th District of Ohio.

Regrettably, I am unable to reply to any email from constituents outside of the 15th District of Ohio.

My Message:

Why are you so afraid to find out the truth about your state? I am one that believes there is fraud in your state. After watching your response on C-span. I now know your party has something to hide. Shame on you and your party.
You and your party are against democracy and the history books will someday show how you let the fraud of the 2004 election go forth.

16. My message
Democracy means being allowed to vote. When voter suppression is used by any party to secure a victory, then our democracy has been thwarted.
The minority vote suppression tactics of people who hoped to secure the election of George Bush in Ohio must be investigated and prosecuted.

In addition a combination of ballot box stuffing and tabulation fraud has occured in the state of Ohio. Citizens such as myself and others have personally witnessed missing signatures in oster books, chain of custody violations of ballots, nonrandom selection of precincts to be recounted, and tampering with voting equipment.

I live in Hamilton County. The counties surrounding Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Clermont are considered to be reliably GOP counties. However reliably GOP these counties are, as you know, no county is 100% GOP.

As you may have heard Warren County, Ohio prevented independent observers and the media from watching the vote tally on election night
by citing an unconfirmed Homeland Security threat. Subsequent investigation by the Cincinnati Enquirer determined that the lock out was planned in a closed door meeting on Oct. 25, of which the press was not informed.

http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2004/11/05/loc_warrenvote05.html
http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2004/11/10/loc_warrenvote10.html

In 2000 the Gore campaign pulled out of Ohio. In 2004 the Kerry campaign and other groups such as ACT and MoveOn were extremely active in Ohio,
including reliably GOP counties like Butler, Warren and Clermont. A Kerry campaign volunteer coordinator in Warren County has told me that democratic GOTV efforts were unprecedented and amazing in Warren County in 04. Yet we are expected to believe that Kerry did no better than Gore did in 2000.

Statistical anomalies in these Southwestern Ohio counties indicate that something is not right about these results.

The Supreme Court Justice race was between Thomas Moyer (R) and an African American female municipal judge from Cleveland named C. Ellen
Connaly. She was so underfunded I saw not a single commercial or yard sign, and I live in a democratic precinct. The GOP candidate however
did have yard signs all over Butler, Warren and Clermont county AND was endorsed by the Cincinnati Enquirer:
http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2004/10/27/editorial_ed1b.html

Yet C. Ellen Connaly a retired African American municipal court judge from Cleveland got substantially more votes than Kerry in a down ticket race in areas where voting a straight GOP ticket is the norm for a certain percentage of people in those counties. I do not believe that Bush voters accidentally voted for a democratic judge from Cleveland because they could not remember the name of the incumbent GOP judge.

Add to that the lockdown of the vote tabulation in Warren County due to a Homeland security threat that Homeland Security and the FBI have denied and a podunkville county like Warren completing their tabulation so late that Cuyahoga, a county of 1 million registered voters got their tallies in before Warren.

Mama didn't raise no fool. Bush did not get 71% in Warren County. And probaly did not do as well as they claim in Butler, Clermont and Hamilton County.

Suppression, tabulation fraud and ballot box stuffing is not acceptable in America.

23. The Ellen Connaly vs. Kerry votes anomaly made sense to me
Edited on Sun Jan-09-05 10:21 AM by rosebud57
because I live in Southern OH. Plus I was at the Jesse Jackson breakfast rally in Cincinnati where he said she did better in Southern OH where no one had even heard of her. They also think her votes were flipped to Moyer votes in N. OH where people do know who she is.

Even though the Supreme Court justice race does not have party affiliation on the ballot why would people who don't know which is the dem and which is the repub pick a name they had never heard of?

And the Warren County DU member lizzieforkerry told me that Moyer for Supreme Court yard signs were all over Warren. And that lots of republicans had their straight GOP cheat sheets when they went to vote. The Bush campaign flooded OH with literature in the last couple days. Even in my urban/campus neighborhood where the Kerry signs were 10-1 I got a door knob hanger GOP cheat sheet. No the Ellen Connaly anomaly shows that straight dem voters had their Kerry votes flipped to Bush, but not their Ellen Connaly votes.

21. My letter to her - short and to the point!
You need to get out of politics, especially since you do not understand what vote fraud is. You should be ashamed of yourself. Your remarks on Jan 6 "as to the challenge" were unamerican. The people of the great state of Ohio should you send you back out of town on the same horse you rode in on.

Find some kind of "work" that is more suited to your talents (or lack thereof).
