We need to flood the Judiciary Repuglicans with e-mails, letters, and phone calls in order to get them to understand how important this is. They MUST hold FULL investigations with subpeona powers.

those in power have contributed to bringing the situation to its current state.

there is no reason to think that those who have repeatedly acted against the greater good, or failed to even try to prevent such things, will all of a sudden begin to do the right thing if you make enough calls or send enough e-mails.

consider who your allies are...they are the people in your community and everyone who has a vested interest in achieving the same goals as you.

focus your energy on these people rather than trying to lobby those who have demonstrated no sign of willingness to support your cause.

think globally and act locally is more than a slogan...it is an essential strategy...part of its wisdom is in causing us to pursue the lowest hanging fruit, the easiest and most attainable of our goals.

look for "the least you can do" to create a tangible change, then commit to doing at least that much...when we develop a track record of such successes we are said to have momentum...people often perceive the amount of your momentum as equivalent to the amount of your potential...and people invest in potential because, well, by definition, it is likely to become more than it currently is.

I had a meeting with another Eureka Councilmember on Friday and I'll have something about that up tomorrow. He did not agree to put the resolution on the agenda but he has made some other attractive offers.

Plus, there's a house party/workshop planned for next week and we're going to have perhaps a dozen people working on honing the talking points and getting comfortable with speaking publicly about No Confidence.

I really can't encourage you all strongly enough - wherever in the US you may be, this is a campaign that needs to be started in your area. This can be done one person at a time. Funny what it takes to start a revolution, huh?
