Withdraw my vote
Is there a way I can withdraw my vote from the official record? Since it seems obvious to me that this was another sham, I don't want to be part of it.
Ok, a bit ridiculous, but it would be funny if thousands of people filed to have their vote withdrawn from the record books.

11. Thanks, you betcha you do!!
But, now, I must admit, some of the credit goes to Georgie W. Bush: a man who's been turning out more and more democrats by the day! Frankly, I'm beginning to think the democratic party owes him some sort of bonus for all he's done to reduce the ranks of their rival party, the republicans.

The republicans will never get my vote again!

19. I appreciate your comment, and
if anyone ever wonders whether a person can really be persuaded to drop one view of politics, and adopt a different one, tell 'em to ask me. I know for a fact that it can happen--because it happened to me.

Anyone, regardless of their politics, who can stick by Bush/republicans (especially neocons) after their starting this FRAUDULENT Iraq war, is either crazy or stupid, or both.

4. This isn't about John Kerry
I was referring to the whole election process. We had a big win yesterday and I just thought it would be another way of bringing it to light. A protest in a way.

8. "Take back my vote"
I like it..lol.
I don't know if there is anything written that says "once you place your vote, you are not allowed to cancel said vote". Obviously it wouldn't change anything, but it is just another way of protesting. It might be worth a shot, hell... we can be as bad as them, can't we?

7. Sure you can withdraw your vote...
However, since it belongs to a private corporation, you'll probably have to pay a fee. Something like a "handling" or "restocking/shelving" fee.

Rather than withdrawing your vote, you might have to ask to "buy it back..."

Or is it really leased it which case you might have to pay a fee to "break" that lease like with an apartment, or like a CD when you have to pay a penalty for "early withdrawal?"

10. Without a vote, we are slaves
Voting is our only chance to be a willing participant in a democracy. To withdraw one's vote could be an effective protest-symbolically. Better yet, get the person unelected next time.
Those who had their vote stolen or were denied the right to vote are the slaves,-- yes SLAVES-- of this nation, because all rights stem from the right to vote!!! ( several speakers quoted Thomas Paine yesterday on this).
For those whose candidate legitimately lost, this is the time to mourn and get over it.
For those who were denied the right to vote or their vote was stolen, this is the time to consider how to adjust to live as a slave. The choices of slaves are limited.

13. It is the symbolism I am talking about
We are slaves to the powerful anyway. Attempting to take your vote back is a way of saying "We aren't slaves, and if you will not let us vote in a legitimate election, then I want my vote back".
