Inaugration Protest: Not One Red Cent Day -- Pass this on...
Pass it on:

NOT ONE RED CENT DAY

Since our leaders don't have the moral courage to speak out against the war in Iraq, Inauguration Day, Thursday, January 20th, 2005 is "Not One Red Cent Day" in America.

On "Not One Red Cent Day" those who oppose what is happening in our name in Iraq can speak up with a 24-hour national boycott of all forms of consumer spending.

16. Wish we could make it for longer
One day gives such a small impact--imagine a week or longer of dedicated Americans not putting into the system. People would have to notice!

3. Great Idea, but not enough
We got to put an economic stranglehold on this country so we can restore democracy. I'm not sure that just ONE DAY boycot will do it. Shouldn't we pledge to do this as long as it takes to bring Bushitler down?

13. Um, we could stock up on stuff, like food, gas, prepay bills before the
20th and then try to hold out as long as possible and then only buy what is absolutely necessary to live. We could really push it.

If we shut down on Jan 20 it appears that we support the farce.
