2. If anyone has a "form" letter-to-the-editor on this subject they would
like to offer to others who know they want to work on this issue but aren't sure how to articulate their thoughts, please post them here. I will repost them on my website. :^)

Thanks!

4. Here is a thank you letter that I sent to my local papers.
Anyone can use any part of it.

Conyers and Boxer are true American patriots

These are dark and troubling times. When Warren County, Ohio republicans plan ahead to close the courthouse to count votes in private, based on an FBI terror alert that the FBI denies issuing; when the co-chair of the Ohio Bush campaign can deny access to poll books during an official recount; when more votes are counted than there are registered voters, one would think the media would let us know. But the press has been strangely silent. No one can read the long list of cheats identified by Congressman John Conyers Jr. and honestly argue that the "election" in Ohio was fair. In America, when you have proof that an election was unfair, you contest the vote. That's just the right thing to do. Congressman Conyers, Senator Boxer and those that voted with them are modern patriots. We owe them a deep debt of gratitude for standing up and shedding light on the botched vote in Ohio. The crimes in Ohio have gone largely unreported by the main stream media. Conyers and Boxer give us hope that that the republic can be saved and democracy restored, but the fight is just beginning. Please take a stand and demand fair elections. There can be no legitimacy for any party until we restore faith in our electoral system. Visit www.nov3.us, click on Voter's Bill of Rights.

5. Working on a LTTE, need to check some facts
I'm writing a letter-to-the-editor, and I want to check some facts, so if anybody could help me out, that would be great!

1. Thursday morning I was listening to a talk radio show and a caller said he had just been told by Senator Boxer's office that she would sign the challenge. At the next news break, if I remember correctly, the CNN Radio News top story was Andrea Yates' convictions being overturned. Boxer's challenge was a few stories down, possibly even the last in the second group of stories. Anybody else remember it this way?

2. Did any major TV network besides C-SPAN carry the joint session and/or split sessions of Congress live?

3. When I found a TV, after they split, I think, it was tuned to CNN and they had live tsunami devastation coverage, followed by Consumer Electronics Show coverage. Is this accurate? Did CNN have any coverage of Congress?

4. In this article:
http://www.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS/01/06/electoral.vote/index.html
there's this statement:
"Republicans dismissed the effort as a stunt, noting that specific allegations of voting problems in Ohio have been investigated by journalists and, the Republicans said, found to be untrue."
I couldn't find a reference to Republicans noting investigation by journalists of voting problems in the Congressional Record, so I'm wondering if this was said outside of an official session. I'm waiting to hear back from an email to the author. Until then, anybody have a clue who may have said this and when?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

6. Yeah! But...
We need to flood the Judiciary Repuglicans with e-mails, letters, and phone calls in order to get them to understand how important this is. They MUST hold FULL investigations with subpeona powers.

The idiots have megaphones, but we have numbers!

The Senate Democrats were cowed, this time by their constituents, into doing what they should have done in 2000. We can't stop now. The Fight has only begun!
