Going after Hillary now - Conyers already - Rove will smear them all
And so it starts.......

Be on the lookout for press releases and "investigations" that pop up now on any and all of the Congresspeople who stood to object to Ohio's electoral votes. Keep the list handy and let's see just how many Karl can hit. Any that I see, I'm letting them know I see and see though! (email below)

Most of us saw this pathetic attempt to get to Conyers:

Where did turkeys go?
Gleaners asks if Conyers' staff helped needy people
January 5, 2005

The director of a Detroit food bank wants to know what happened to 60 turkeys -- 720 pounds of frozen birds -- that his charity gave to members of U.S. Rep. John Conyers' local staff two days before Thanksgiving to give to needy people.

Here's today's stab at Hillary regarding a year 2000 incident:

Sen. Clinton's Ex-Finance Chief Indicted
Fri Jan 7, 6:45 PM ET Top Stories - AP (TOP STORIES!?)
By LARRY MARGASAK, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (news - web sites)'s former finance director has been indicted on charges of filing fictitious reports that misstated contributions for a Hollywood fund-raising gala for the senator, the Justice Department (news - web sites) said Friday.

WRITE TO SEN CLINTON HERE (If you feel you want to) I did -

Dear Senator Clinton,

This "news" item is so obviously payback for your stand with other Democrats for spotlighting Ohio election problems yesterday. It’s such a Rove move.

If you stand up and say so you will do at least 3 things. Inform even more people about the Ohio voting problems, expose even more of the republican's playing dirty, and encourage even more support from Dems who are tired of not fighting back. Promise!

There has never been a time when we needed people more to stand up and expose the bush administration. And it’s just in time to work on changing the congress. Please consider becoming more vocal against this crap. We will join you.

Sincerely,
Signed by me
My town, USA

indictment. Very interesting that it took several years to figure this out, and it just happened to be released after the challenge, and the same day the Armstrong story broke.

5. They're masters at coordinating these things. They have
the rabbits to pull out of the hat at a moment's notice. They're slick like Mike said.

I lost the link for his show when my IE froze up and closed before I saved it. Can someone give me that white something link that has all the archives?

4. Don't get mad, get LOUD!!!
We need to flood the Judiciary Repuglicans with e-mails, letters, and phone calls in order to get them to understand how important this is. They MUST hold FULL investigations with subpeona powers.

The idiots have megaphones, but we have numbers!

The Senate Democrats were cowed, this time by their constituents, into doing what they should have done in 2000. We can't stop now. The Fight has only begun!

14. Did you as an American watch the whole 2hr Debate in the senate
Did you not see every Democrats Senator stood up to debate for 5 minutes. Some even share the precious 5 minutes with others to show that all Democrat Senator want to speak.

How many can speak in 1 hr allocated for Democrats.

I watch it twice....you are way out of line with this statements
TAKE THIS :nuke: :puke:

15. Some are upset that although 6 or 7 spoke, NONE voted to contest -
And while it is great that even 6 or 7 spoke - most likely knowing there could be repercussions - it should be noted that the Senate, just ilke the House of Reps, was allowed 2 hrs to debate and didn't have enough people to even fill the time; used only 1 hour total.

I watched all 6 hours of presentation; the vote, each house of congress debate, and all other speeches. And while I'm very very happy that they were able to record the objection -- I'm a little disappointed that there wasn't a lot more Democratic support and a few YAY votes to the actual objection. Every Senator who spoke could have voted YAY as a statement, knowing they didn't have enough votes to carry it.

Again - it still served the purpose of exposing the USA voting fraud problems. And we're grateful for that.

ps - welcome back overseas visitor - we're glad you are ok.

19. I believe they voted correctly
The stand is about voting reform. Not about Bush winning. And voting for Bush proves that. Now Republicians need to show they for voting reform or they for voting suppression.

See how the media is screaming and twisting this. But hey Democrats voted in Bush too so now so they whining actually and they dont have mcch to talk on since they dont want to talk on the reports by Conveys.

Only the strongest, most secure politicians can afford to speak out publicly in this horrible political climate.

It's best that some keep their heads down and work quietly wherever possible.

even the quiet ones are in danger from the destructive Bush administration working in concert with the MSM.

It's an odd situation, but WE actually have to be their voice these days. as was stated in an earlier post, we have to make our voices heard in every possible venue available to us.

And openly support politicians like Hillary Clinton.

12. the auto response to me was they don't answer out of state -
and they suggest you might want to contact your own representatives and give you a link to the congressional site.

I think they will read it. This is not about a state issue.

16. Look at this bit about Rosen and Donnie Fowler
In addition to his Clinton effort, Rosen has raised money for several other high-profile Democratic candidates, including former presidential hopeful Wesley Clark (news - web sites). Most recently, he was named to the fund-raising team of Donnie Fowler, a candidate for the Democratic National Committee (news - web sites) chairmanship.

"I'm sorry that that happened to David, but I don't think it's going to stop or slow down the campaign for chair," Fowler said in a telephone interview Friday.

(I knew Fowler wasn't a good choice for DNC chair. This is what happens when "it's all about the money" and Fowler has been touted as a good "money-raiser", like McAuliffe. When will they learn?)

20. A karma thought I've had myself for quite some time -
A very quick and broad overview of A Course In Miracles (one of many religious studies I've taken) is that:

We know nothing. (Not God, Not reasons for illogical deaths, Not what is right or wrong... nothing.)

Only love (total positive) is real - everything else is an illusion brought about by the ego (total negative)

Teach only love - for that is all you know. (Because we are Gods creations, the only thing we actually ARE and KNOW is love.)

SO - What if we are simply to observe what appears to be the works of the ego, pray for that to learn and become enlightened, and simply go on with our own lives doing as much good/love as possible.? That would mean we trust God (whatever that is) to take care of karma (judging) and maybe those killed by the thousands today have killed others and it's their karma? What if those in great power - having the opportunity to use it better than someone who used it poorly against them previously - have simply given in to the ego again and that is their own learning experience; that it's not easy to stay good/love when tempted with so much power/money/materialistic 'stuff'.

If eternity is really eternity -- then perhaps we're all just going to keep working the karma thing and trying to learn to do better for, well... eternity!

Isn't dualism forever? and without it - would there even be life?

Sorry - getting a little ethereal here......

I already emailed her a thank you for standing and told her I knew she would take some heat from the Republicans for this. I offered my help in any election reform endeavors she may have. I sent similar emails to Boxer, Tubbs-Jones, Reid, and Lautenberg. I had planned on either writing or emailing everyone that stood up. Do you think DU should endeavor in the same type of tactics for all the THUGS that called us conspiracy nuts? A few well researched letters to editors could do the trick, don't you think?

On edit: I was planning on getting something out to Conyers tomorrow. I don't know if he has a public email, but that would certainly be quicker than smail mail.
