3. I say let them try!
It will only serve to bring more light on our election system. We can use all the publicity we can get.
I truelly believe that our legacy will be Constitutional Amendment, Election Reform.

4. Isn't this hypocritical?
Shouldn't fair and open elections go for everyone, republicans and democrats alike?

They think Ohio is a scam; if we protest this, we are giving them ammo to say that Ohio and Florida are partisan bull.

Please don't flame me, I am just trying to look forward.

6. It is hypocritical of THEM to ask for one in the first place
The procedures for the state were followed. The judge ruled fairly. This is NOT the same scenario as Ohio, where laws were broken, judges ruled unfairly and obstacles to full and fair hand recounts were OBSTRUCTED.

5. Unfortunately the dems are as bad as the republicans
in this respect among many others. It's unfortunate.

7. Those of us in Washington State do NOT want revote
Please stop saying that we should allow a revote. We elected a democratic governor here, and we want to keep her.

A revote would be a nightmare. bush's entire team of thugs would come and make certain their boy won. What would be gained by giving them another chance?
