LTE can someone check this?
Edited on Sat Jan-08-05 11:37 AM by mimitabby
I read with profound relief the article “State let 7 counties bypass checks for federal standards.” Thanks for reporting on this! I hope they can get those Sequoia machines checked out before we have another revote. If we can actually have those things checked and monitored, I think Gregoire will win by a much larger percentage. An interesting fact about Snohomish county voting, all the people that complained that the touch screens showed their votes to be for the wrong candidate were democrat. How many other democrats didn’t even notice the problem? Bring on your investigation, Mr Rossi! I’m not sure you’re going to like the results you get.

2. Heh Heh
I'm not at all sure we should protest a re-vote.

There's a lot to be gained by running it again. Like, the repukes can't rig it because of the spotlight and go on to lose by a margin that makes the original vote WTF.

I read with profound disbelief the article “Untested Voting Systems Used: State let seven counties bypass checks for federal standards.” It is unconscionable that the state officials bypassed the necessary standards testing and verification procedures, particularly since these seven counties account for more than half of the votes in the state! They must audit those Sequoia machines before we have a revote. If the machines and software can be independently tested and verified, I believe that Gregoire will win by a much larger percentage. An interesting fact about Snohomish county voting is that all of the people who complained that the touch screens showed their votes to be for the wrong candidate were Democrats. How many other Democrats didn’t even notice the problem? Bring on your investigation, Mr Rossi! I’m not sure you’re going to like the results you get.
