How many people agree with Bill?
November 6, 2004 -- Former President Bill Clinton, in his first comments on President Bush's re-election, yesterday urged Democrats not to "whine" about the outcome, but to find a "clear national message."

1. I love the man, but I wholeheartedly disagree.
I don't think being concerned about possible election fraud, or that this country has gone wingnut whacko is 'whining'.

if we don't deal with Electronic Voting Machines & voter fraud.

3. How about this for " clear national message?"
Voting schemes that make an open and transparent recount impossible are un-American!

7. Aye there's the rub.
As long as there is a secret ballot there can be no transparent recount. Skulduggery must be done in secret,

6. I agree with him!
It's sad to say, but we really HAVE to speak to the lowest common denominator. Talk to any advertising company. You always make your message short, sweet, and something people want for THEM! What you are doing with a Presidential candidate, that's exactly what you're doing!

Think about what the Pub message was. It's the same as it was in 2000..."we all want morality!"

Now, morality is a personal thing, and each of us has a different description of what that means, but there's no way to explain it in a 30 second ad!

Silly as you might think it sounds, I think our best bet would be to hire the company that does the Budweiser ads. They are interesting, remembered, and get the message out in a short time, and very well!

8. Politics is selling.
If you are selling a car; you convince the person that your car is the one he should have. In politics you sell the person that yours is a better way. If at first he doesn't agree; you don't call him a stupid son of a bitch for not buying. Instead you share with him the reasons to vote your way. Remember, nobody buys from an obnoxious salesman.

12. No, you convince him that his life would be so much better and happier
with that NEW CAR! Or even better, Ron Poppeil and his techinique. He makes his viewers realize it's such a great deal, and they can't live without his new item.

I'm not trying to compare a person with a commercial product, but it really is selling, and convincing more people than not, that they want what you're peddeling.

9. Agree and Disagree
I agree strongly that we need a new and clearer message, remember we can't be ABB in 2008. Somehow Republicans do have this image of whining liberals and we must be careful because they have love creating a storm out of a few grains of dust.

Keep fighting the good fight!

Remember that 'last dog standing' rhetoric? Well.. I am that last dog. I will not rest until I KNOW that things were fair and square, and that the MAJORITY of Americans CHOSE to have ONE party control our entire country!
