Brothers and Sisters of the Land of DU!! Stop! Listen!

What do you hear? There is no place for this among people who have united in a common cause! We All have our own take on what has happened over the past 2+ months. It's OK to have a perspective that may be different from others. That's what makes us who we are. That's why we have become a powerful, peaceful force that carries an important lethal weapon- the truth! How we get there is half the worry! What we do when we get there is what counts. PEACE!

I posted this late last night on another thread...thought it might help!

1. Well spoken...I agree
I bet you were a "middle child". The "peacemaker". Hhaha

It's been my observation that every dem walking has been dragged through tar, feathers, and fire on DU.....But I suppose we'll get that with so many diverse personalities.

I don't know if I want the Democratic party to unite in the way of the opposition, where any non-conforming speech is met with an accusatory finger and cries of treason.

With that in mind I believe the dem party is populated with brothers and sisters. United, with an open mind for improvement.

2. The way to victory in 2008 is to help the DNC to choose a
palatable candidate for the American people, and to vigorously counteract the right wing propaganda that will come his/her way.

4. I agree completely. Let's cherish our unity, and our diversity - and let's
be sure to focus on the unity when the crucial battles are before us.

Like yesterday, and again tomorrow...

Great work all.

We must communicate in a way that spreads
tolerance and peace.

Our voice will always be stronger when united by peace. :)

6. Fooj, I have no problem with people disagreeing with me. It is only the
disrespectful, insufferably rude ones that earn the snooze button. Fortunately, they reveal themselves rather quickly, so there is no need to spend that much time in fruitless exchanges with them. I just give them the Faye-wave and say buh-bye. There are plenty of people that can disagree and can remain civil and non-judgemental and can express their differences without resorting to dismissive and denigrating attacks. I am happy to have a dialogue with those people and we both can learn something from each other's experience and perspective.

Thanks for your post.:-)
