Face it: Jan 6th was hopeless, stop crying about and get back to work.
On Novemeber 3rd I listened to Ian Rhett's music video "Didn't Know I was UnAmerican" and was crying. But yesterday upon hearing that Bush was officially re-elected by Congress, I did not cry. I knew it was going turn out that way. I knew it was hopeless no matter how many Democrats stood up. Please keep in mind that EVERY Republican Senator and Represntative is in it. I once heard somewhere that last year there was a bill went through both houses that would require every e-voting machine to have an auditable paper trail. Sadly it did not pass because every Republican voted aginst it unanimously.

3. The House Republicans
would not let the bill even reach the floor.

6. I believe it never came out of committee because the people of
the US hadn't heard of the issue and put no pressure on them to bring it to a debate or vote. Voters of both parties have heard the issue, now, with the challenge on the floor of both houses and the repubs wanting a re-vote (how ridiculous is that request) in Wash. state. I don't think this is a dead issue. We must keep up pressure and write LTTEs to inform the masses.
