Challenging the Florida Electors

Special Friday Show!

History happened yesterday, and I was there. For the first time since 1876, Congress challenged a slate of Presidential electors.

I happen to know a good deal about challenges to Presidential Electors on the Floor of Congress. I drafted the challenge to Bush's first term which was heard on January 6, 2001 and featured in Michael Moore's movie Fahrenheit 9/11.

Today, we'll discuss how the challenge works legally, the goals of the 2005 challenge, and whether there is any hope in this country for electoral reform.

1. If he
knows so much about electoral cahllenges, why wasn't he aware of the one in 1969?

2. That was a faithless elector...
a different thing than challenging the states vote.

3. Hello?

They were challenging that electoral vote. You know, with one senator and one representative objecting and the like? Precisely like Thursday, but with a different reason behind it.

4. Please judge him after listening to his show
He was so vicious going after a conservative radio host. It’s great to have him on our side.

5. About 40 minutes into the show Mark calls a radio talk show.
The host he calls won't answer any of his questions about legislation for fair elections. This is the kind of talk we need to hear from Congress (both Reubs and Dems).

6. I saw him in DC
while i missed his speech< i met a delightful little ol lady who said that he was very informative. I think she said he was an attorney who became a radio host or journalist (can't remember). Anyway, she seemed very impressed with him and the info that he supplied.
