My Bad, On Christmas I Said They Would Bomb Mosul To Create Smoke
Edited on Sat Jan-08-05 10:39 PM by McCamy Taylor
However, I did not predict the Tsunami which would provide the administration and the MSM with almost two full weeks of smokescreen. NOW they are starting the bombing of Mosul. And they even bombed the wrong house and are telling the world that they bombed the wrong house as if to make sure that Iraqis in Mosul and elsewhere escalate the violence. Expect the smoke of human corpses to create a smokescreen for the next 12 days until *s Coronation.

The real reason why elections must be held in Iraq? Because it ensures lots of bloodshed, violence and death to keep the TV news crews happy--and too busy to cover the on going election protests at home.

An explosion at a house south of Mosul killed 14 people and wounded five early Saturday, and the owner blamed a U.S. air attack.

A U.S. military spokesman said the Americans were compiling information on the incident and would have a statement later Saturday.

The house owner, Ali Yousef, said the airstrike happened at about 2:30 a.m. in this village 30 miles south of Mosul. American troops immediately came and surrounded the area, blocking access for four hours.

5. CBS must be out of the loop. They still have TSunami as their headline
and Mosul is just a subheadline. Didnt all those fines the FCC leveled against them teach them anything?

6. I feel so helpless, I know the MSM is going to fall right in the trap
which Karl Rove has set for them. This is exactly like the invasion of Fallujah immediately after the election. I sent this email to Keith Olberman because I dont know any other MSM journalist with an ounce of sense.

"Remember me? I am the tin foil hat loon who emailed you around Christmas to say that I was worried that the administration was about to escalate the violence in Mosul in order to distract the media from the election challenges that were brewing. I emailed later to say that I was relieved that I was wrong, though I was a bit concerned that the devastation of the Tsunami might have made a media political smokescreen unnecessary…for the moment.

"Sigh, looks like I was right. Two days after the Election Challenge and one day after Ohio’s Election problems finally surfaced in every major newspaper in America and on every major TV news station including FOX and CNN, Mosul appears headed for a meltdown. And it our fault. Not only did the US drop a bomb on the wrong house in Mosul killing innocent people, they have announced to the world on all five American TV news networks that it is our fault. If that does not escalate the violence and increase the suicide bombings in Mosul and other parts of Iraq I don’t know what will.

"I don’t expect you to air any of this on your program. You are a journalist. Just keep it at the back of your mind when you cover the stories. It was right that you cover the Tsunami. It didn’t matter that Karl Rove might have been happy to see those people suffer. That was his problem. Tsunami victims need media attention. However, don’t let yourself get pulled around like a puppet on a string by people like Rove. They know that war and bloodshed are more glamorous than long lines at the polls."

7. McCamy, I know how you feel. I've been furious for years it seems.
Channel it. These people will have a special place in hell. Meanwhile, let's do our best to help them to it. What are you up to for the 20th? We're going to a demonstration in SF, not spending a dime and putting on a night of political comedy for the whole weekend.

8. I cant stop crying, There are women and children dying in Iraq
right now and for what? What on earth is so important for Cheney or W. or Rove that it is worth murdering innocent people? Political power? More money? I think Karl Rove just wants to prove that he is smarter than everyone else, and that he can get away with anything, no matter what the cost. I dont think he actually believes in anything.
