2. "Hey, I've got a GREAT idea: how about death squads?"
How long till this makes the names Elliot Abrams and John Negroponte part of the news again?

If Condi was half the woman she ought to be, she'd be slapping faces and saying, "Shut up, you idiot! Don't you guys learn ANYTHING?"

Damn I want seito to go kick her ass.

Bush Impeachment Countdown -- 576 days to go

Today is January 9, 2005. There are 576 days until the estimated impeachment and removal of George W. Bush (for how this was calculated, read after the jump.) This is another in a daily series chronicling the high crimes and misdemeanors of the Bush administration.

Today's high crime: Murder and kidnapping in violation of international law. From Newsweek:

Now, Newsweek has learned, the Pentagon is intensively debating an option that dates back to a still-secret strategy in the Reagan administration’s battle against the leftist guerrilla insurgency in El Salvador in the early 1980s.

Then, faced with a losing war against Salvadoran rebels, the U.S. government funded or supported "nationalist" forces that allegedly included so-called death squads directed to hunt down and kill rebel leaders and sympathizers.

Eventually the insurgency was quelled, and many U.S. conservatives consider the policy to have been a success—despite the deaths of innocent civilians and the subsequent Iran-Contra arms-for-hostages scandal.

How the countdown is calculated: Bush's expected removal is based on the date that Richard Nixon was forced from office: Aug. 8, 1974, the 565th day of his second term. It is only an estimate -- Bush could in fact be removed from office earlier than Aug. 8, 2006.

5. Impeach Bush
Well it's a nice daydream but just because Nixon got impeached doesn't mean G.Brish will. Besides, we need to get rid of more than him or his clone will succeed him(cheney etc) No what this country needs is for the World Court to indict him and his cabinet for war crimes. Then we could ship them all to Belgium and have a new election.
