Why are people who want to know the truth about an issue, i.e., election fraud, 911, JFK assination, etc. get the title of conspiracy theorists, loonies, and radical?

I think its because people find it much easer to label someone a nutcake then to actually face the possibility that the truth might not be what they thought it was :)

denial works for them because if they believed it then they would have to do something about it,instead of watching TV or going to the mall

4. Because if it isn't on the evening news.. |

Because if it isn't on the evening news, people dont believe it. The news media becomes the final arbiter for most folks out there. Sad but true.

5. If they can destroy our credibility they can keep us out of the dialogue |
|
because no one will take us seriously or pay attention. Rather than debate us or respond to what we're saying it's more effective to eliminate us entirely from the discussion.
Look at what they did to Howard Dean with the "unelectable" "angry/emotionally unstable" meme.

6. Many people would not do the terrible things alledged... |

Some, then, assume no one else would. (It's a whole 'nother story if they think the accused was hand picked by God to be president.)
I point that distinction out to doubters and sometimes it gets them to take another look. I also point them toward the Reichtag Fire, and Operation Northwoods. The latter especially knocks people into wondering.:wow: :scared:

has something to hide and no one wants to be bothered. Ironically the best current conspiracy is practically coin of the realm. namely that the RW noise machine can define any opposition into mocked oblivion through Orwellian trash talk. We have all the name proof and much general media recognition of this machinery, which in fact is a conspiracy of the very type we are talking about and oddly, intimately connected with people strangely sharing the same party, ideology, golf clubs and even names.

10. Best Way Of Avoiding Truth Is To Dismiss Inquiry |
|
The reason terms like "Out of the mainstream" and "Pre-9/11 Mentality" catch on is that they are substituted as the truth whenever anyone poses a solid question which conflicts with the official KKKarl rhetoric.
This answers your question, too.
