From another board a deeper view of america mythology vs reality

Like most of us I follow many boards. This is not a from a progressive board if anything I would describe it as a conservative one. This message stood out for me in its implications of how many people are waking up to the idea that the mythology of america is not the reality of america. This might not seem election related but I think it is. The mindset of people ripe for changing the system in all areas is growing!

I was wondering if anyone saw the CNN special tonight about all the totally innocent people who are rotting away in U.S prisons? It blew me away. Basically you can be picked up and thrown in jail for life or sentenced to death at the word of a government (FBI) official. I have been a member of this board for only a few months and I have learned the truth about our financial system as it relates to the FED and government. Now it seems that the justice system in this country is often no better then a kangaroo court. LIES...once again i find. I wonder what else i believe about life that is a lie. It seems that i was brainwashed ....look at these numbers.

After watching this CNN special it seems that people are railroaded in our country as a matter of routine. This seems to be a system that Stalin would be proud of! Its scary as hell to think that our statistics are the worst in the world and all my life Ive been told about how EVIL the Soviets are. How the people of China are starving for freedom...ect. And i bought into it all not knowing anything else. You would think that the most corrupt and evil government would have the highest percentage of people behind bars. The thinking being that they would jail all who are simply a threat to their power. So is this the United States? I am just shocked that we are jailing people for life with just the unchallenged word of an FBI lab report. LOOK AT THAT NUMBER!! 2 MILLION IN JAIL. That just blows me away!!! How many innocent has the government killed that we know nothing about?..i wonder.

Okay, so let me get this straight: The financial system is ponzi....The money is fake....The justice system is a tool of the government....and we are constantly told how our democracy is the greatest in the world....

I have found this quest for knowledge very depressing....very depressing indeed.
(and i actually considered myself a flag waver...i bought into it all...)

Guess what? The most corrupt & evil government DOES have the highest percentage of people behind bars!

Poor soul. The koolaid is wearing off & the red pill is daunting!
