Vote machine fraud in Texas in big counties and suppression of minorities
Presidential electors of Texas should have been challenged. There was widespread touchscreen fraud documented in Texas in the big Democratic areas of counties like Houston and San Antonio, and systematic suppression of minority voters.
Both Default Kerry to Bush and Default straigth Democratic ticket votes to Republican were documented in Harris and Bexar counties. And widespread suppression of minority voters throughout the state.
A winner should not be declared where there is widespred fraud and suppression until the extent is known and those responsible for fraud and illegal actions determined.

1. Documentation of vote machine fraud in lots of states
Edited on Mon Jan-10-05 10:38 PM by berniew1
There was widespread and systematic voter suppression of minority voters, dirty tricks, vote machine fraud, and other vote manipulation in Ohio, New Mexico, and Florida- that was of magnitude enough to call in question who won those states.

etc.
and also similar patterns in other states where the suppression and fraud did not change the election results including vote machine fraud in Calif., Pennsylvania, Washington, Texas, etc.

etc.
(the voter suppression of minorities in Mercer County is the worst I've ever seen-followup needed)
The unethical and illegal actions were so systematic and widespread that this cannot be allowed to continue uninvestigated and unpunished. There was a huge amount of obvious malfeasance that should be investigated and dealt with.

13. There were some problems in San Diego, too.
I just got back from a Democratic Central Committee Meeting.

There were 4-hour lines to vote at SDSU, which only had 2 machines for the entire campus. This is one of the few liberal hotbeds in our area, so it's a no-brainer why this was done.

Across all precincts, Diebold punchcard machines failed 33% of the time! There were also reports of voter intimidation and Dem pollwatchers even challenged two policeman for inappropriate actions.

"Family Values" voting guides were found in several polling places. Across the street from one poll, a prayer vigil for Bush was being held--until DEM poll watchers got authorities to break it up, but no one was cited for breaking the law. Also, some marines were refused provisional ballots because pollworkers didn't want to be bothered.

6. Interesting!
This adds more credence to Madsen. He said that Texas was a state where *'s popular vote was padded (according to his sources).

9. I'd like to know something about this:
Edited on Tue Jan-11-05 04:20 AM by Carolab
"Voter voted on the first early day to vote in Houston (october 18th) by electronic machine. Vother chose Kerry and when she checked her ballot she found that bush was selected. This happened one or two more times. By the third or fourth attempt kerry showed up as selected and voter submitted her vote."

Whenever this happened, as it obviously did many times over in many places across the country, HOW DO WE KNOW THE MACHINES WERE RE-SET SO THE VOTES RECORDED FOR BUSH WERE CANCELLED? Perhaps those 2 or 3 false Bush votes actually were counted. Perhaps there was no way to "delete" a Bush vote (i.e., from the "machine" counts). Perhaps that's where the "more votes than voters" came from, and Bush's "mandate".

10. Yeah,
I've wondered too.
Similar thing happened to me in NM but with a US Congress seat.
Heard it happened a lot here in NM.

11. In Florida where there were hundreds of reports, only about 40% were able
to correct their vote. But that was only the ones who were very observant and noticed the switch after they had initially seen Kerry. The switch mostly happened at the end, just before the vote was compiled, and after voting on other things. Of those who didn't notice the switch, check it after voting, 100 percent of those lost their vote. And notice that for those who were voting straight Dem party line, many or most of those votes were defaulting to Bush in many states including Texas, North Carolina, Wisconsin, etc.
