Franken and a "Berkeley Professor" explain how "*" "won"
That happened about 25 minutes ago in AAR.

I was driving to work and I heard this "revelation."

Total agreement between the 2 "geniuses":

1. Kerry was portrayed as a "flip-flopper." (Kerry's fault)

2. Iraq is "*"'s strength.

3. "*" is a "straighshooter"..."people likes him"..."people thinks he tells the truth..."

Well folks, rigth there is the problem. You don't need to be a rocket scientist.

With people like Franken and this "professor" on the airwaves, "speaking on behalf" of Democrats or trying to do so, THERE IS NO HOPE OF WINNING ELECTIONS.

I mean people that can be so blind or willingly ignorant of reality HAS NO PLACE IN THE NEW REALITY CREATED BY THE REGIME.

46. I also stopped listening to Franken but I keep the radio on and tuned
to AAR anyway. I don't want them to lose the ratings, keeping them on the air and gaining more affiliates across the country is vital. They are the only Dem leaning MSM talk news station out there at present. Besides, I think they might start carrying Thom Hartmann's program soon, I think that's why Randi had him as her guest host, to familiarize her listeners with him. I listen to him all the time now but my computer stream constantly craps out on me. It'll be better if he's on AAR and I can just turn on my radio to hear him. He will educate a lot of people.

I don't want to say bad things about him though. Of all AAR programming, IMO, his show is the weakest. I really thought he'd be a strong advocate for us but so far, not so much. Do you think it's because he's wanting to run for Senator sometime soon?

NOW, I listen to Thom H from 12-3PM and I'm much happier. :-)

But, with all the evidence of the massve suppression of the minority vote, sometimes I wonder if the problem here is just ugly old racism.

And those same people who haven't talked to a single voter from Columbus or Cleveland or East St Louis or New Orleans are the ones who don't know the same tactics are being used against poor people and students as well.

I did email the station and said so.

he projects the image of honestly ... one of the reasons is that he is good at creating images ('freedom on the march') and I think his verbal screw up help (many people feel very articulate people - like Clinton - are dishonest) ... my mom use to fall into this trap, she said that if you forgot what you were able to say it was a lie (which is not true, but that's how she was raised)

Also Americans want beautiful lies to ugly truths and Dumbya gives the stupid the latter

20. Are you sure you heard this right--if they're talking about how Bush and
Kerry are PERCEIVED by a lot or most people, they might be right.

That doesn't mean they think Kerry is a flip-flopper.

The fact remains that Kerry said he was "misled" by Bush on Iraq. Bullshit. I haven't believed one thing Bush said since he became pResident, and I haven't been wrong once.

He would have been seen as a lot more resolute if he hadn't supported Bush's war until he opposed it.

It carries a price, and you've got to have personal integrity when you deal with people. I am a straight shooter, I have always been a straight shooter and my goal is to remain a straight shooter until my final breath.

I despise seeing my moniker associated in any manner whatsoever with him, because bush is no straight shooter!

He wouldn't say that "*" is a "straigth-shooter", of course.

He just made all the constructions to explain how is acceptable to think people gets to that point of dellusion.

I mean, if you play by the right wing talking points.

Franken was reacting at a topic framed by the right wing, once again.

That is, "*" "won."

"What's wrong with us...Democrats"???

many votes it would have taken to change the election outcome (11 votes per precinct in OH; got that on voter suppression alone-never mind machine manipulation) and most don't have a CLUE about e-voting vulnerabilities.

"Too subtle for the common American..." (Franken's argumentation)

The challenge to those talking points was weak at best (I'm generous), by both "gentlemen."

The rest is your WISHFUL THINKING, and, of course, you're entitled to that.
