I would like to recommend that you check out a brand new organization called velvetrevolution at velvetrevolution.us. The reason I am posting this message in this forum is that velvetrevolution is committed to exposing and fighting election fraud.

I met the founder of velvetrevolution six days ago. He had organized a group to go to DC to try to persuade Senators to stand up on the 6th and speak up for exposing the election fraud in Ohio and elsewhere. He asked me to join the group in order to discuss with the Senatorial staffs some statistical analyses I had done (and posted on the DU) regarding exit polls and voting patterns relating to Triad voting machines in Ohio. It was one of the most memorable days of my life.

Like me and many of you, he holds the belief that unless and until we expose and check election fraud in this country, we will be facing nothing but Republican Presidencies and Congresses, and we can kiss our democracy goodbye. And velvetrevolution is committed to dealing with that issue (among other progressive causes).

It is affiliated with Justice Through Music, Progressive Democrats of America, the Brad Blog, and other progressive organizations. It hopes to form a consortium of progressive organizations that is large enough and strong enough to compete successfully with the right wing wackos and crooks who are taking over our country.

1. It's About Time We Had Leadership

I agree that VR is what we need. There are many good groups fighting the right wing but there needs to be coordination and leadership. It looks like VR will provide that -- I have heard that there will be some really interesting campaigns coming out from VR in the near future. I know that without fair elections, we have nothing. It is good that VR learned and applied the lessons from Ukraine. Kick this!

4. I guess so

I thought of "election fraud" and "vote fraud" as synonymous, but I understand that some people might take "vote fraud" to mean that the voter is responsible for the fraud. I never thought of it like that before, and that is certainly not what I meant to imply, or what the velvet revolution is about. The main reason that I used that term this time is that I wanted that mission in the title of the post, and there weren't enough spaces for "election fraud".
