Ron Wyden (D) and Gordon Smith (R) video 1_10_05 Oregon on election
Here is a windows media video clip - (11mb) with Ron Wyden(D) and Gordon Smith (R) on the election 2004 problems at the Medford Oregon City Hall Town Meeting 1_10_05.

This video requires windows media player and both mac pc versions can be found at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.aspx

Please flip a coin to pick one of the two links to the video. Both clips are the same. This way the load to the two servers that host the clip will be statisticaly evenly distributed. That is how statistics work - (much like the way exit polls are used to predict outcomes.)

Tails - www.fugw.org/Wyden_Smith_Gaia_CH_1_10_05.wmv

- Thanks to all that have taken action to expose election fraud -
- Thanks to Ron Wyden for striving for voters rights -

2. YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS! Wyden is good, Smith is woefully ignorant.

A little hard to hear but worth it!

THe level of ignorance of Gordon Smith is simply appalling. He clearly thinks those complaining about the election are a bunch of bloggers spinning conspiracy theories based on exit polls which are "nearly always wrong!" When asked if he's read Conyers's report he says no.
Wyden, on the other hand, does a lot better, and says problems are not confined to Ohio. Let's hope Wyden can educate Smith

At the end Wyden is talking to a constituent and says, “There are some pretty powerful interests who don’t seem to want a paper trail.”

3. I'm more of a tin foil hat wearer
Sen. Smith knows exactly what went on. He is playing dumb. Wyden, on the other hand is speaking up. Go Sen. Wyden!

4. You really think Smith knows? He said he hasn't even read Conyers.

I have found in working on this that many of our legislators are unbelievably ignorant about the perils of e-voting. Wyden is doing a good job. I am proud of him.

5. I do believe most Senators know what happened
Sen. Smith is lock step with the Bush Administration. He is well aware of all the horrible things that his party is responsible for. He may not have read Rep. Conyers report, but I truly believe he is well aware of another stolen election.

That is just my opinion. :)

7. Maybe. I have found that even a lot of the Dem congress people who're good
people are pretty clueless about e-voting, however. THere is a popular misconception that paper trails will fix everything. they don't get the tabulator issue.

9. Do you think he is educatable? Or has no interest in being educated?

Wyden did talk him into supporting an exception for Oregon's system when they passed HAVA.
