PLEASE READ YOU WILL LOVE IT Received This E-mail From ImpeachBush.org

Dear ImpeachBush/VoteToImpeach.org member,

George W. Bush and his administration have been doing everything in their power to “sanitize” Pennsylvania Avenue on January 20th by trying to banish thousands of people holding Impeach Bush signs and banners. But they have not succeeded.

Not only will ImpeachBush members cover the parade route, but we will have the opportunity to sit in bleachers prominently arranged at 4th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. NW. We are joining with the antiwar movement, which has obtained a permit to build bleachers and hold a mass rally along the Inaugural route at 4th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. NW. This is the first time in Inaugural history that the antiwar movement has secured access to build bleachers along the parade route.

George W. Bush and the presidential motorcade will have to drive right in front of the bleachers and mass rally. Military family members whose loved ones are in Iraq, members of the Arab-American and Muslim communities, and people from all walks of life will hold signs reading “Bush Lied: Thousands Died,” “Impeach Bush,” “Save the Bill of Rights,” among other slogans. We are pleased to announce that Ramsey Clark and others will be featured speakers in the rally that will take place at 4th St. and Pennsylvania Ave.

Bush wants to cleanse the Parade route of dissenters so that he can falsely assert the legitimacy of his government. Nixon used the same tactic at his second inauguration. Let us not forget that Nixon chose to resign rather than be impeached just 20 months after his second inauguration.

The political effort to affirm our rights could not have happened without the support and commitment of so many people who believe strongly in the impeachment movement. The world media will be in Washington DC on January 20, and everyone should feel proud that our movement will be so visible. The people of the world must see that the people of the United States insist that Bush and other high officials be held accountable for their criminal acts.

Buses and car caravans are coming from more than fifty cities. People are flying from the West Coast to join us at 4th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. Volunteers are making signs, posters, handing out leaflets, answering phones and doing the one hundred and one other tasks to make this an effective mobilization.

If you are unable to come to Washington DC but want to help by making a much-needed contribution, we are in urgent needs of funds to cover the many costs. We have grown stronger only because of the continued generosity and commitment of ImpeachBush/VoteToImpeach.org members.

Please make a contribution now by clicking here for access to the online donation form and the secure server, where you can also get information to write a check.

Congratulations to everyone for their hard work and we hope to see you in Washington DC on January 20th. We’ll be sure to send a report of the activities following January 20th for those of you that can’t be there.

--All of us at ImpeachBush/VoteToImpeach.org

2. I would love to see Bush impeached
but then don't we get Cheney as the upfront pResident instead of being the puppetmaster?

3. No, we just make sure he goes down with the ship
if he hasn't had a heart attack by then.

Nothing would gladden my heart more than seeing this regime impeached and then indicted on war crimes.

5. That is great news.
I heard the Republicans were going to charge $60 for bleacher seats along the route (that were normally free).

6. Oh, this does warm the cockles of my heart!
We need to make sure the US media covers these events as well. They will be making every effort to ignore it as a "few fringe elements."

7. People, I am getting worried about this...

This is the second report I have read today about protesters getting to be on the actual coronation parade route.

Have you guys seen any of the photos of the gear that "Law Enforcement" will be wearing and carrying for the coronation? Just who/what are they arming themselves against?

Do any of you think, just maybe, that the protest groups may be infiltrated, and something may happen to cause the LE RoboCops to open fire on the protesters? I smell Kent State all over this.

Thoughts/opinions/supermarket coupons for Reynolds Wrap?

God, I love my country, but I fear my government.

9. I doubt they're going to shoot anyone. Even Bush is not THAT
stupid. It'd be the only story told from the day.

Oh, but signs protesting along the parade route -- that'll be TERRIFIC!

11. But what if

someone, ahem, "shot first"?

That was the excuse of the Guard shootings at Kent State. One of the Guard members in question said that he thought he heard a gunshot.

I think I'm gonna have to fine it, like, eleventy million dollars or something. Because it's like a pretend butt, and that's what everyone has their shorts in a twist about this week.

8. Somehow I think they will go back on their word. I don't trust what
they say. I think they are just setting us up for a big fall. These people are sick, and those are the games they play.

But it would be a great sight to see.

money on an inauguration, when sooooo many people are suffering. I have gotten this e-mail, too.

What could 50 Million Dollars do, to the
homeless problem,
the poor elderly buying dogfood 2 times a week to survive (nothing new)
the jobless
the Lakota People starving and freezing to death every year
the sick and handicapped
the children without families or abused
abused women
the mentally ill
the disaster victims
just to name a few....

I even have reservations accepting this extravagant party of the few priviledged, IF and when I know that all these donors have given an equal amount on the same day to all the causes. It should be something the people of this country can be proud of and celebrate, and still this would not warrant 50Million, plus Homeland Security funds.

I can not go to DC, but I will write. This is the only way I can support the demonstrators....
