During the ceremony, groups will be demonstrating in several ways. Some will turn their back on Bush as he is inaugurated, then leave. (For more information, see TurnYourBackOnBush.org.) Other Americans will be wearing shirts and dropping signs saying “He’s not my President” —the group Not In Our Name sells such shirts and advocates that banners with this theme be dropped from highway overpasses and in other public places across the country at the moment that Bush steps to the podium to be sworn in.
