Demand that the Media cover protests at inauguration
Lets all bombard the media and tell them we will be watching for the protests. Tell them we do not want to have to wait for the next M.Moore movie to see in the media what we all know is taking place. We should demand full coverage. We want to see the 1000 coffins going by. We want to hear from the Vets. against the war. Let them know. Just think what would happen if they get the number of faxes, phone calls and e-mails the senators got before Jan. 6.

1. Word
BTW, on NPR today, Bush plans to have the city of D.C. under martial law essentially. Patrols by aircraft and helicopters, numerous and regularly spaced snipers, full military deployment, and mobile command centers are to be used in this operation. This sounds like the plan for Operation: Iraqi Freedom rather than the 55th inaugural ball.

4. NPR also covered ANSWER's grandstand.
What you can take into 'the zone' is pretty minimal. I guess they don't want another egging.

Anyone have a pointer to maps of "The Zone"?

5. This is what the media will cover, keep them busy while the real
news happens.

2. Don't be silly.
You know the media is bought and paid for and will not cover the "dissidents."

6. Maybe CSPAN?
They covered a bit of the Repug Convention protests (not nearly as much as I had hoped they would) but they did show some.

They also showed the march for women's lives in April ...
