John Kerry, when you are on Paul Zahn tomorrow |
|
John Kerry,
When you are on Paul Zahn I will be listening for "code" words and phrases:
Got your back Every vote counts Common dreams
Something that we can hang our hopes on and encourage us to keep fighting.
If we don't get some acknowledgement and direction soon, we may start acting out in, um, er, innapropriate ways.
Take our energy, our passion and help us channel it to do some good!

5. I'm not going to watch. |

I won't have to. I'm sure his message will be repeated many times over. If he picks up the mantle again, he has my support. If he tells us to lay down and die, I'm not sure why he would bother to come on in the first place.

If Kerry is doing the talk show circuit about the election post mortem, things he could have done differently, etc. That means he HAS given up. Let's get real, folks. I supported Kerry, after being a solid Deaniac. But frankly, I think he and Bush turned this into a Skull and Bones pissing contest... and when Kerry looked to have lost, he honored his S&K roots, and walked away.

7. If that happens you have something to tell Terry McAuliffe. |
|
When he e-mails you and asks what the DNC has to do better next election, tell him we would be better off if the DNC did not show up at all.
Heck, I've read the NAACP lawsuits. I say, as long as we're all relegated to minority status, let's put our trust in the people who can deliver results. Let's give the members of the NAACP a chance to give notice and regroup legally so they can properly organize a campaign for us in 2008.

8. It's not over. And we don't know what he will say. |
|
We put our hopes in Kerry. No one can deny he fought hard for us and with us.
The negative reaction toward him is like fans turning on their favorite football team when they lose the Super Bowl (something we are quite familiar with in Minnesota, BTW).
Everybody loves a winner, but losers be damned.
I am not thinking that way.
