10. That's a very IMPORTANT feeling, too.

DU and other progressive sites keep me from worrying that I'm the only soul in this country who sees the thugs as heavily invested in fraud to get their own way. When every day brings more evidence of neo-con criminal activities, just knowing I'm not alone in this perception helps me keep my feet on the ground and telling anyone who will listen that our democracy is in serious jeopardy. I think we're gaining on 'em, so don't ever give up!

..I felt like I was walking around in a daze. Reality just seemed so screwed up. I honestly wanted to leave the country. Then, for a reason I'm sure, I stumbled on DU and suddenly, things seemed to get clear again. THIS is what is real....what we are fighting for. And yes, it is bad...the people who want to steal our democracy from us are bad people. But as you say...we have allies, we have hope, and we are determined, AND we are RIGHT! I love progressive minds!
