Thanks. Well...it's easier to see where the work needs to be done, when laid out like that.

2. This report has nothing to do with the 2004 elections |
|
Though the date that this report was issued is not listed anywhere that I could find, the analyses presented only go through 2003 in any of the charts, and the few references to surveys conducted also end in 2003. This analysis describes the lay of the political landscape going into 2004 and doesn't present any data that was collected in 2004 or any data that is directly related to the 2004 election itself.

5. This is an important read |

And a very sobering look at our party. The problems are easy to spot, and we need to address them.

6. Lots of information can be gleaned from this. |
|
Married women with kids are selling out to their husbands beliefs? Hispanics are voting the way their employers and their religious leaders have led them to vote? Churches are too involved in politics? Americans between the ages of 30 and 45 STILL think Alex Keaton was right on DESPITE the fact that the actual person who played the part is now an activist for stem cell research?
Just some of the questions I come up with after looking at this. The party really should take a look at this. I guarantee some of these numbers have moved a little since the information was gathered, but it would be interesting to find out what swayed them and in which direction they were swayed so the party can focus on defining a message and getting it out there.
Thanks for this! Have you forwarded it on to the leadership? Dean might be interested.

7. No....but you're more than welcome to if you have any contacts. |

It looks like lots of people have bought a decades worth's of propaganda. I found the party ID by sex quite interesting. Look at the young males.....it appears they've bought Arnold's 'girlie men' approach to the Democratic Party. We really need to address that.
