Fox News. DUDQ's might have missed this
Linda Vesser( I think that's her name), the blond "party favor" on Fox, said at the end of the first round - (paraphrased) No one expected that type of attack on Dr. Rice! Senator Boxer knows that Dr. Rice will be confirmed, why attack her in such a manner?!

Her real underlying statement seemed to be "what's going on? I don't get it?" And the news room didn't really know how to react.

If you look at the observations I've presented, tie them into the recent comments from the executive from Diebold, and you could also toss in Kenneth Blackwell's reaction to Conyers, you've got a pattern forming of confusion and fear mounting inside the neoCon ranks. And they don't know how to react to the changed landscape. Their traditional weapons of whining, crying, and screaming aren't working like they have, and they're just now (since the 6th) figuring it out. And they don't know how to change course!

I'll point out one of the major problems but I'm not sure how many will really get it. The neoCon rank and file have relied on a single mind to get where it is. First it was embodied in Leo Strause and now Karl Rove. If you're relying on the thinking of one guy to keep 20 million foot soldiers in line (the true size of the neoCon base and support), he can't crack or slip. Right now they've got nothing but allot of both!

2. Oooh, I like your analysis, darkworkz!
I was just saying something similar the other day to some friends who think there is nothing we can do to stop the Neocons. I kept saying there is a crack in the veneer and we are peeling it back, we just have to keep working at it. Since there is no reality behind the surface to hold it together, we should be able to expose it if we all work at it.

3. Why attack her?
Gosh, I don't know, Ms. Right-Wing-Vessel, maybe because she's a total screw-up?

Shit, if they think that's an attack, why don't they go pop in the tape of senators grilling Anita Hill. FAUX hypocrites.

12. you have a better name?
This is the name that seems to fit. If you've got a better one I'll happily listen to your description and seriously consider your points.

Until then read the below text and watch the video, you might find you agree with the label I've chosen to use.

(text below isn't mine)

The Neo Conservative movement in the Republican party was founded
ideologically by Leo Strauss, a "man" who believed that saving his
cowboy image for America was more important than truth or honesty. Since
their inception they have invented imaginary threats to America such as
Rumsfeld's overblown image of the USSR up to Saddam's non existent WMDs.
The story is deeper, far deeper than I have written here in this sig
file. Check out this three part documentary by the BBC to learn more
about it.

16. I hate to rain on the parade...
I still like your analysis...

But, upon deep introspection I realized you may
be new at this darkworkz.

Early on with these neandercons (I like the term :) )
I'd see what I *thought* were small chinks in their
armor... Over time they'd develop into festering
chasms of puss filled manure. (prisoner abuse for
example.)

My mind would be screaming... WHY THE H*LL DOESN'T
SOMEONE... *ANYONE*... CALL THEM ON IT!!!!

Yet, no one did. (a few exceptions during the
election cycle when they weren't pounding us
with the swift boat sewage.)

Then they made Condilie and "Organ Failure" Gonzales
cabinet members.

So, now I'm thinking... No biggie... No waves...

These criminals have a FREE PASS from everybody.

I am now serene in my apathy.

45. dissolution is coming.
Why? Because as someone else posted, the Repubs have banded together becuase they were out of power for so long.
Now, they are top dog and WE have to do the same.
Being at the top, they will start feeding on each other, as we did.
Their success has bred hubris, and that will be their downfall.
As the separate groups feel more empowered, they will challenge each other.
Believe me, the paleo-cons hate the neo-cons.
Then there are those like my brother who is a libertarian-conservative who hates them both.

I know some Old republicans (I am talking old school, conspiracy types) who hate Bush as bad as anybody.
It is only a matter of time before they start fracturing.
We need to stick together, let them fall apart.
For example, I dont get this Kerry bashing, this Obama bashing, and I admit it, I bashed Biden a bit.
Fact is though, we need them all to get back into power, THEN we can push our agenda's on them.

27. Question for your position though
What would you call the challenge on the 6th and these questions coming out of Kerry, Boxer and probably (since I'm still catching up) others?

That looks like a challenge, if not a warning of more to come.

I'm not pestering you or attacking you, I just want to throw that out to you as something to potentially toss into your thinking. All feedback is appreciated, we are allies in this. If you're in Cali and under Boxer's area, call her up and thank her. Ditto for Kerry.

46. What you are forgetting
Is that Kerry won, by 4 million votes or so. I believe. And that demonstrates that these things are making a huge difference.

The military vote overseas went for Kerry. At least, the ones we can get, in New Jersey. Even tho MSM kept saying the military vote always goes Republican.

No, even from strong Repub districts, they voted for Kerry.

That means folks are wising up. Did wise up. They just don't all realize that they are in the clear majority. Having it shoved down their throats all the time that Bush won by such a wide margin (of padded votes from E-tallies).

Ok, you agree with my sentiment but don't like how I phrased it? That's your prerogative. That's how I saw it and chose to type it. Mind you, if I had chosen to go into the documented Republican and Democratic nightlife issues

(http://www.propagandamatrix.com/141003conspiracyofsilence.html) I think

you might find some justification for the term I chose to use. And I could have been much more "harsh" had I chosen to be

You don't have to like how I say things and it's up to you to determine within yourself how you "feel" about it. The content speaks for itself.

I find it funny that anyone would be upset for the Senator Boxer's attack on Dr. Rice. Its a confirmation hearing, the goal of these things are to vent your issues with the person and to see whether other agree. ....and they are going to go down because of it.

What you see today with Scumdalezza is as clear picture as you will ever find of what happens when someone who spins lies, all the time, suddenly has to answer a simple question asked by someone who refuses to accept anything but the truth.

THE BUSH OPPOSITION emerges and none of the liars and the liars-for-liars (aka MSM) know what to do.

32. I noticed back-paddling by repukes
and a lot of it today.

With BushINC's approval rating in the shitter, they know people are not approving of how the war is being handled. Republican Senators today, handled Condie with some kids gloves. There was an attempt appear hard lined questions (all the while begging for her forgiveness for what they were about to do)that amounted to very little hard lines at all.
They didn't ask real questions for the likes of the freepers, who would surely be pissed if they had(hence the ass kissing before the questions). Yet they tried to he hard enough to appease intelligent "real" conservatives they lost this past 4 years over their fundamental take over of the party.

They know the shit is hitting the fan and likely to splatter upon their heads just as equally as BushINC for the obvious coming storm. Today I saw alot of recognition of this among them. Perhaps they know, we know they've done nothing but fuck up for 4 years.

When in 4 years your biggest achievement is?? Pronouncing nuclear? after 4 years correctly?
