Edited on Wed Jan-19-05 01:42 AM by Der Blaue Engel
Not that I can't drop it into my browser myself, but why not save us all a tiny step? :)

On edit: Wow, thanks for the heads up on this. It gives me the chills looking at it all so clearly like that.

5. Great !!!
Now all we have to do is prove that the 3.59 PM, 7.38 PM and 12.23 AM exit polls were correct.

Let's get to it.

19. The exit pollers' main computer "crashed" around 12:30 am Eastern
Edited on Wed Jan-19-05 09:37 AM by Fly by night
on 11/3 and was back up about two hours later, as I recall. So all exit polling interviews should have been completed by that time, except perhaps in Hawaii.

15. It's stunning to see how far off they were,
across the board, all favoring Bush. I have yet to hear a satisfactory explanation - how are they going to explain this?

17. it's simple-it was fixed.
In Florida, and more so in Ohio, urban democratic strongholds were not given adequate places to vote. C'mon, standing in line for 10 hrs? How many dems for kerry either left those lines or saw them and never waited? It's a stolen election.

21. In answer to my own question.
All the Repubs are going to say is that the exit poll methodology is flawed.
I mean, read that exit poll methodology.
There are several steps in which the numbers are massaged.
I didn't realize that exit polling was so complicated.
I am not so sure now.

Bottom line, I think that voting reform is needed more than ever, because we absolutely HAVE to have a way to go back and recount quickly and easily. I don't even think we can trust exit polls anymore.
