Need a name to call those who obstruct Verified Voting Legislation |
|
Let's come up with a name for any politician, Freeper or sycophant who comes out against voter-verified paper ballots and random audits. "Fascist" sounds a bit too academic or left-wing and there are too many in this country who might think being a fascist is a good idea.
We should come up with a term for someone who obstructs legislation designed to ensure the integrity of our elections. Something that even the MSM and their viewers and listeners would understand without further explanation. This way, we can have our own little slogans and bumper stickers to throw back at them when they call us "conspiracy theorists" and so on.
Anybody got any clever ideas?

Hey, if stupid terms like that can work for the Bush-ster, I don't see why we shouldn't fling the dung right back in his face.

Why would a politician not want to verify the vote?
Since we don't verify the vote now and there are too numerous glitches in the system to quantify wouldn't it make sense to have the vote verified?
So you would rather make the system easier to cheat, why is that exactly?
Do you have a stake in a non-verifiable voting system?

Dear fellow citizen (including those of you who work for us because we elected you),
Each citizen, one vote: you agree or not?
You do support equal access to vote: if one person waits an hour, shouldn't we all have to wait an hour? Correct?
How do you KNOW your vote was counted as you intended: don't you want to be able to check?
Every vote is an historical act in support of our American franchise of Democracy and the Constitution on which it is based: shouldn't we preserve each ballot and each record of how the ballot was tabulated?

21. Stalin-symp vote counters |
|
Joe Stalin reputedly said something like, "It doesn't matter whose vote counts. It's who counts the votes that matters."
Hmmm, maybe a good slogan would be "Who counts the votes?"
Or "Do you know who counted your vote?" accompanied with a pic and bio of Jeff Dean, the Diebold VP and chief programmer with felony convictions for fraud involving planting backdoors in software.
