First fight: Environment - help please
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/11/08/politics/08enviro.html?oref=login

The Times is reporting that BushCO views the election as a mandate on environmental polices and plans to drill in Alaska, etc.

I'm going to be preparing a letter to a selected group of environmentally consious officals (republican, democrat, otherwise) to attempt to put a stop to the raping and pillaging of our beautiful country and world. But I could use some help.

Who are the officials who are consious on this issue, across the board? Please, anyone you can think of from any party, not necessarily elected officials either. Just names will do, I can look up addresses in a hurry.

2. Feingold, Snowe...
...I would think just about anyone from the Northeast. Look up their voting records. This is great work!

7. Included in 'northeast legislators' part
I don't include him by name because admittedly, I just don't see that he is going to bat on this election for us. I hope I am wrong. He has a great environmental voting record, but is unlikely to do much after saying we need to find common ground with Shrub and his hacks. They just have no room in their cold hearts for environmental issues.

6. Yep. Olympia has done a good job at trying to keep
pollution from floating in on top of us.
