Students march in Seattle right now!
My son just called me from there, apparently at least 1000 people including students, professors and others are currently marching from
Capitol Hill to Westlake Center after walking out of their class rooms at noon.
Welcome any more news on this.

6. I picked it up on the networks just now.
One of the disturbances is being described as "gang related".

7. What disburbances?
Do they mean the protesters? I heard that there were at least 50 cops on bikes, but there hadn't been any trouble at that point.
What did you see on the news? I haven't found anything local so far.

11. My three sons go to the University of Washington
.....(which is why I can only sign petitions, and can't afford to make donations! :^) )

They told me there was a walkout planned for noon. Good for them. I remember that the U of W was very active in Vietnam protests. In fact, they closed down the campus, and one day they marched in mass onto Interstate 5 at rush hour.

I know people don't appreciate these tactics, but that was really the beginning of the end of the war and Nixon.

I hope this generation realizes what is happening.
